A Christmas Prayer

Merry Christmas, dear friends!
On this holy day, we pause to rejoice in the wonder of Immanuel — God with us. May your heart be filled with peace, your home with joy, and your spirit with the light of Christ’s love. From our family to yours, we wish you a truly blessed Christmas.
Lord Jesus, today we celebrate the miracle of Your coming. You left heaven’s glory to be born in humility, wrapped not only in swaddling cloths but also in perfect love for us. Thank You for drawing near, for stepping into our brokenness with the promise of hope, joy, and salvation.
For those carrying quiet grief, missing loved ones, or facing uncertainty this Christmas, we ask for Your tender presence to comfort and sustain. Remind every hurting heart that You are the Prince of Peace, You are near to the brokenhearted, and Your light shines brightest in the darkest places. May Your love wrap us gently, just as surely as You were wrapped in the manger.
As we gather around tables and trees, help us also gather around Your presence — the true gift of Christmas. Fill us with wonder like the shepherds, faith like Mary, and generosity like the Magi. May the light of Your love shine through us into a world still longing for peace. We offer You our worship and our hearts, today and always. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
