It’s hard to believe we’re already in a new year. 2025 seems to have come and gone in the blink of an eye. Thank you for continuing to pray with us. Every state and national victory is due to your faithfulness to stand in the gap for your state and for America. It’s a new year, and while there is plenty to be thankful for, there are also many opportunities to get involved and much to pray about. Here are 10 ways we can intercede in 2026.

This content is supported by your donations.
    Give today.

    • Pray for the leaders of our nation, whether at a city, state, or national level, as we are impacted by the decisions they make. Pray a blessing over them, and if they do not know Christ, pray that they will encounter Him and come to know and serve God.

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to understand the truth (1 Timothy 2:1-4).

    • Ask God for an increase in wisdom and discernment. It’s not just about knowing the truth, it’s about discerning “half-truths” which are still lies. Discernment will keep us from deception.

See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception [pseudo-intellectual babble], according to the tradition [and musings] of mere men, following the elementary principles of this world, rather than following [the truth—the teachings of] Christ (Colossians 2:8).

    • Most believers will be doing some kind of fast with their churches, and fasting and prayer together are powerful. Prayerfully seek God for His guidance and direction for 2026, personally, corporately, and as a nation.

Though the Lord gave you adversity for food and suffering for drink, He will still be with you to teach you. You will see your teacher with your own eyes. Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you, a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left (Isaiah 30:20-21).

    • Pray that we will be sensitive and obedient to the Holy Spirit’s voice.

But when He, the Spirit of Truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth [full and complete truth]. For He will not speak on His own initiative, but He will speak whatever He hears [from the Father—the message regarding the Son], and He will disclose to you what is to come [in the future] (John 16:13).
