That vision has become reality with the brand-new American Spiritual Heritage Project.
The American Spiritual Heritage Project is a grassroots, interactive online initiative designed to collect, preserve, and share stories of faith, historical religious influence, and spiritual experiences across the United States.
Most importantly, it is to build faith and mobilize an army of intercessors, rededicating our nation to the Lord. By seeing God’s hand upon our nation over hundreds of years will spur Believers to be history makers themselves and cry out to God, “Would you do it again!”
A Digital Archive of Spiritual Stories
At its core, the project provides a map-based platform where users can explore and contribute spiritual heritage stories from every state, county, and community. Intercessors are encouraged to share historical accounts of how faith impacted their area—whether through church milestones, religious revivals, community service rooted in faith, or other significant moments that reflect spiritual influence.
These entries become part of a visual, searchable archive, creating what is “the most significant spiritual document in the history of our nation.”
Whether someone wants to discover what God has done in their own locale, search for heritage accounts in another part of the country, or submit their own narrative, the site’s interactive tools make the process accessible. Many spiritual heritage stories have already been catalogued through the platform, and this number continues to grow as more people participate.
Three Pillars: Recount, Reclaim, Rededicate
The project is structured around a three-step process:
- Recount — Dig into the faith history of your community and record stories of spiritual impact.
- Reclaim — Reflect on and reclaim the promises and principles drawn from those spiritual accounts.
- Rededicate — Participate in personal or community prayer and dedication to renew commitment to God’s principles for the nation.
These steps are meant not only to document history but to inspire reflection and prayer, encouraging participants to see their local stories as part of a greater national spiritual legacy. The site even offers custom prayer resolutions and a downloadable National Prayer of Rededication to help guide intercessors through the rededication process.
