    Faith That Took Me Literally

I didn’t choose this kind of faith — it chose me.

I didn’t learn it in a classroom or from a pulpit. It was burned into my chest the first time I heard Christ speak and realized He wasn’t being poetic.

    “Take no thought for tomorrow.”

    He meant it.

“Sell what you have and give to the poor.”

    He meant that too.

    “Love your enemies.”

    Still literal. Still binding.

    So, I walked it out.

I took Him at His word and watched impossible things move — food appear, bills vanish, people healed, directions in dreams that turned out to be real-world coordinates. Every time I obeyed, the pattern repeated: act on the words, watch the world rearrange.

This isn’t mysticism. It’s physics written in the language of faith.

    The Neurodivergent Among the Half-Awake

Then you look around and realize most people don’t actually believe the Book they quote.

They agree with it — mentally, politically, socially — but it never crosses from their head to their bloodstream.

They say “trust in the Lord,” but mean “trust in savings, plus sentiment.”

They preach surrender, but guard their comfort like a fortress.

For a literal mind — for the neurodivergent — it’s torment to watch truth treated like decoration.

    They call your obedience radical.

    They call your dependence irresponsible.

They call your faith too literal.

But what else can you do when the voice of Christ was clear?

They wrote rule books to explain away His plain commands, to make them safe, respectable, non-threatening.

They traded revelation for ritual, Spirit for system — and called that maturity.

    Faith as Reality, Not Mood

For us, faith isn’t a feeling. It’s a kind of architecture.

When you trust, the unseen becomes structure. When you act, matter responds.

It’s the most consistent pattern in existence — and you can test it like an equation.

You try to tell them, but they blink — polite, confused, detached.

They think faith is performance. You know it’s physics.

They think you’re naive. You know you’re walking through a responsive universe.

And when the impossible happens — the provision, the healing, the open door — they call it “nice.”

But you know better. You’ve seen the Light move the gears of creation.

    Step Beyond the System

    So here’s the call:

    Walk it out.

    Believe Christ beyond the noise.

Forget denominational etiquette and the neurotypical rules of polite unbelief.

Follow the raw command of Jesus with unfiltered obedience.

Don’t wait for permission. Don’t ask for validation.

Just believe Him — literally, dangerously, beautifully — and watch the world respond.

You’ll feel alone at first, but you’re not. You’re one of the ones who still believes faith is supposed to work. That miracles are meant to be normal. That Christ is still alive.

    Glory Over Gold

    Leonard Ravenhill once said,

“We have lots of gold, but no glory. Someday someone will pick up this Book and believe it, and put us all to shame.”

    Let that someone be you.

Let it be the neurodivergent, the literal, the outcast — the ones who never learned how to tone it down.

Let it be those who still think Christ meant what He said.

    Because the glory never left.

It’s just waiting for someone to take Him seriously again.

    And when we do,

    the systems will crack,

    the false shepherds will scatter,

and the Light will blaze through the ruins —

    because someone finally believed.
