The art of writing a letter is long gone, but here is the perfect time to rekindle it.

    What’s in a letter?

The written word has an extraordinary ability to transcend time and space. A letter created with intention can encapsulate feelings that are too hard to say‌. The act of writing allows for reflection, offering an opportunity to articulate feelings and thoughts that might otherwise remain unspoken.

When someone takes the time to create a heartfelt letter, it not only expresses their feelings but also their appreciation for the recipient. The letter provides a tangible token of affection that recipients can revisit and cherish.

Appreciation strengthens relationships, boosts morale, and enhances emotional well-being.

Steps to Creating a Heartfelt Letter

-Choose your medium (handwritten or typed)

    -Choose a greeting

    -Express gratitude‌

    -Share personal experiences

    -Conclude with warmth

When you’re done, give it to your friend to show her how much you appreciate her.

    6. Join a Class Together: Learning and Laughing

    Taking a class together is a great way to bond and learn new things. There are many benefits to shared learning, including;

The power of shared experiences. Engaging in classes together provides a unique opportunity to strengthen bonds. When we embark on a journey of learning together, we share struggles, triumphs, and lots of laughs along the way. Shared experiences can lead to increased empathy, better communication, and a deeper understanding of each other.

Building stronger bonds. Learning in a group setting fosters teamwork. Whether cooking, painting, or dancing, a class provides opportunities for collaboration. Team efforts break down barriers and build trust. As you rely on your friends for support, you create a foundation on which to strengthen your friendship.

Catalyst for laughter. Humor is essential for human connection. Creative and playful classes can cause comical situations, such as fumbling a dance move or a cooking experiment failing. These moments create shared stories, inside jokes, and memories that enrich friendships.

    Types of Classes to Consider

    -Cooking classes

    -Art workshops

    -Dance classes

    -Glass blowing classes

    -Fitness classes

    -Writing workshops

-Group travel classes (travel classes that focus on destination, cuisine, culture, or language)

Taking classes together enriches learning, creates stronger bonds, and creates memories.

Have you ever wrestled with the tension of female friendships? One day it feels like a refuge, the next like a rivalry. Too often, even in the Church, women can struggle to truly trust—or even like—other women. That’s why I was so excited to sit down with bestselling author Natalie Runion to talk about her new book, I Don’t Even Like Women. In it, Natalie flips the script on the narratives that keep us divided and reminds us that God designed friendships with other women to be life-giving, healing, and deeply purposeful.
