Loving difficult family members is a challenge. Some of us experience trying times at the hand of our family members and it can be hard to love them, even when we have grown up and moved away. God doesn’t want us to hate our family members; instead, He wants us to love them. Love is a choice – it is not a feeling.
Ask the Lord to help you love your difficult family members. We will not be able to accomplish this goal on our own. We need God’s grace, support, and conviction. Rely on God as you are working through this Bible study, find hope in Him, and allow the Holy Spirit to work in your life.
