If you find yourself not feeling joy anymore, it might be time to take a quick inventory of your life.
Being anxious and not trusting God robs you of the joy in your life.
Playing God and trying to manipulate and control every aspect of your life robs you of the joy in your life.
And when sin invades our life, it robs you of the joy in your life.
Why? Because sin present in our life disrupts our fellowship with God.
But when we humbly confess our sin and repent, Jesus extends His embrace and restores us by His mercy. He continues to cover us in the sight of the Father with His righteousness, and our joy is rediscovered.
If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. – Psalm 66 verse 18 NASB
In His infinite grace, Jesus offers abundant, full joy to those who love Him, as we treasure His salvation and glory more and more each day.
