“Pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.” Jude 1:23 KJV
There is a weight in the spirit right now that cannot be ignored. Hell is not slowing down. Scripture tells us it enlarges itself, and Jesus spoke plainly about the reality of eternity. Heaven is real, and hell is real, and every soul you see is headed toward one or the other. That truth alone should awaken something deep inside you. The King’s business has never been casual. It has always required urgency.
The Bible calls us to reach, to rescue, to pull people out of the fire. This is not poetic language. It is a picture of action, movement, and compassion fueled by holy fear and deep love. Jude did not say admire the fire or talk about it. He said pluck them out. That means there is no room for delay, distraction, or spiritual apathy.
You feel the opposition. The enemy is real. Paul said we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. The attacks on families, marriages, children, and minds are not accidental. The goal is to exhaust you so that all your energy turns inward. But hear this clearly. The calling on your life is greater than the confusion around you. The pressure is real, but so is the prophecy. The battle is intense, but the assignment is holy.
There is something in you that hell cannot extinguish. God placed a calling inside you that does not bow to fear, fatigue, or disappointment. When the enemy pushes harder, it is often because your purpose threatens his plans. You were not called to survive quietly. You were called to shine brightly. And time matters. Scripture reminds us again and again that our days are limited. We are living in a generation watching prophecy unfold in real time. This is not the moment to drift or disengage. This is the moment to pray, worship, give, and live with eternity in view.
Joshua understood this. While others drifted away, he stayed in the presence of God. That urgency shaped a leader, and that leader shaped a generation. God is still looking for people like that. People who refuse to be lukewarm. People who understand that the King’s business requires haste.
Ask God to awaken compassion for the lost, courage for the calling, and fire in your worship. You are not here by accident. Heaven is watching. Hell is resisting. And God is calling you to move.
Prayer: Lord, grip my heart with holy urgency. Wake me up to eternity. Strengthen me to stand, speak, love, and reach in this generation. Let my life reflect the weight of Your calling and the power of Your love. In Jesus’ name, amen.
