A Shepherd leads his sheep, and when we choose to allow Jesus Christ to be our Savior, we are also asking Him to lead, guide, and move us as He sees fit. Psalm 23:1 shares, “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.” With Christ as your Shepherd, you have all you will ever need for this life and beyond.
6. “He Provides for Me in All Ways”
Financially, emotionally, and beyond, we can lose heart and worry if there will be enough to see you throughout the day. Thankfully, we have a kind Father who provides all we need. Philippians 4:19 reminds us, “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” We can stand firm in the knowledge that He will provide for our needs; He is boundless.
7. “I Am Remembered, and I Do Not Need to Fear”
Fear is not your portion, and you do not need to worry that the Lord has forgotten about you. Matthew 6:31-34 assures us that, “So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (NIV). We do not need to even consider the idea that He has forgotten; rather, seek Him and know in our hearts we are taken care of in all ways.
