In his State of the Union address last month, President Trump announced that Vice President JD Vance would lead “the war on fraud.” Now, weeks later, he’s established a national task force to tackle fraud, selecting the Vice President to head the force.
Pray for your fellow intercessor.
From Breitbart:
Trump has ordered Vice President JD Vance to head the task force, which was created after sleuths discovered massive fraud among Somali-run-welfare programs in Minnesota.
“There is also strong reason to believe that similar problems exist in other States, including California, Illinois, New York, Maine, and Colorado,” says the Executive Order creating the task force.
The president signed his executive order on Monday, March 16, to root out, prevent, and prosecute “staggering fraud and waste” in our state and federal welfare programs, and to reform the aid programs for the future.
As part of the Executive Order, President Trump announced that Vice President Vance would head the new task force. Additionally, every top U.S. agency with a hand in welfare and assistance programs will also participate in the task force. A spokesperson for the Vice President said the task force will “lead the charge in identifying and prosecuting fraudsters and ensuring states are taking reasonable steps to prevent criminals from ripping off taxpayers.”
The Executive Order focused on the massive Minnesota fraud that has dominated headlines over the past few months. According to President Trump, Medicaid fraud in the state in recent years has an estimated total in the billions. IFA has also covered this fraud, and intercessors have been praying about it since it was first uncovered in November.
Now that the President has established a task force, let’s pray it would be effective in its mission to stop the criminals stealing from taxpayers!
