Today we are continuing on with our #BibleStudyWithMe series through the book of #James with chapter 3! ✨This chapter holds a special place in my heart because it contains one of the first passages I ever memorized, and it was also one my dad would direct me to growing up if I ever needed a reminder about “taming the tongue.” 😬
In this #BibleVideo we are digging into the distinction this chapter draws between the dangers of the tongue, and wisdom from above. These two things produce very different outcomes, and we’ll be talking about what those are.
I’m also talking about how God uses Scripture to sanctify us by sharing an example of how the Holy Spirit brought to remembrance a verse we studied back in James chapter 1 in a moment when I was temped to sin.
