An exclusive analysis by Issues & Insights of the latest Census Bureau and election data found that millions aren’t just moving out of blue states but are moving out of blue counties within states.

Trump won 2,589 counties in each of the past three elections. From 2020 to 2025, those counties gained 5.4 million people due to net migration—which measures how many people move into and out of an area. The 433 counties where Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and Kamala Harris carried the day saw a net loss of 5.43 million people.
This data reflects more than just geography—it reveals a deeper cultural and moral divide deepening across the United States. Americans are increasingly choosing to live in communities that align with their values, worldviews, and vision for society.
From a biblical perspective, this kind of separation is not surprising. Scripture shows that people naturally gravitate toward communities that reflect their convictions. As cultural divides widen, we are witnessing a real-time example of how worldview shapes every aspect of life, including where families choose to build their homes.
Many Americans appear to be rejecting policies associated with progressive governance in favor of communities that prioritize order, tradition, and what they see as biblical principles.
These shifts are not just demographic statistics – they reflect the spiritual condition of our nation. Where people choose to live often reveals what they value and what they are seeking for stability and truth. Let’s pray that Americans would continue to seek truth!
