Welcome back to our #BibleStudyWithMe series on the book of #Ruth! 🤗
Last week in chapter one, we left off with Ruth and Naomi, two of our main characters, in dire need of provision. This week we meet a third character: BOAZ. 😏
In Ruth chapter 2 we are given an introduction to who Boaz is and why certain aspects of his character and identity are significant to the story. We then get to watch these two characters meet, and it is a beautiful display of God’s sovereignty. It may seem as if the events that brought them together happened by chance, but we know that with God nothing happens by accident – it happens by divine appointment. ✨
There is so much to be learned from the characters in this story, but more importantly there is so much to be learned about the character of GOD who these human characters ultimately point us to.
