Officials in Humboldt County, California, have discovered almost 600 uncounted ballots from California’s redistricting election in November last year. The uncounted ballots were found in a locked drop box.
The ballots were found on May 4, 2026, six months after the election results were certified.
“The Unconstitutional Redistricting Vote in California is a GIANT SCAM in that the entire process, in particular the Voting itself, is RIGGED.” – President Donald J. Trump on Truth Social at the time of California’s special election.
According to reports, the ballots were discovered sealed inside a locked drop box and officials stated there was no evidence of tampering. County election officials attributed the issue to a “miscommunication” over whether the drop box had been fully emptied prior to certification. While authorities insist the ballots would not have changed the outcome of the election, the revelation has intensified existing concerns over election oversight and accountability.
The election in question involved California’s congressional redistricting process, an issue already surrounded by controversy and accusations of partisan manipulation.
