Nationwide, believers felt a collective grief over what this means for their states, the nation, and future elections. While the November elections have come and gone, the battle is far from over. Intercessors in New York, New Jersey, Virginia, and California are looking to the Lord and continuing to stand in the gap for their states. The statistics have come out, and here is what we know and, more importantly, how to pray about it.\u00a0<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<h4>Do you want state prayer alerts?<\/h4>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">First, let\u2019s take a look back at last year\u2019s elections and see how they differ. In the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Circle <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">online publication, it was the youth who made the difference in the\u00a0 2024 Presidential election. The publication says \u2018youth,\u2019 but the age groups refer to Gen Z and Millennials. That\u2019s right, our young people were a huge driving force behind the 2024 elections \u2014 specifically, young men, voting republican or conservative. Their concerns were the economy and inflation. Younger Latinos also prioritized the economy. In contrast, more young women voted for Democrats.\u00a0<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Women Made the Difference in 2025<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The 2025 elections saw a democratic socialist elected Mayor of New York, along with other major losses. While younger voters once again showed up, the statistics released so far indicate that young women were the difference-makers in 2025. Both<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Forbes<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Vogue <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">declared this a massive win for Democratic women and said they are a key to future success. 80% of the voters for Mamdani were young voters, mainly Gen Z, and 84% of the total vote was cast by young women, according to<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Circle<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Most women under 30 also voted Democrat in New Jersey and Virginia. Young people in California were also the strongest supporters and voters in favor of Proposition 50.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The votes were cast in Virginia and New Jersey, both of which had 60% of women, while men made up the remaining 40%. Women voted for reproductive rights and gender equality. LGBTQ and immigration policies were also responsible for the Democratic wins. Young people are showing up to vote, and that is something to thank God for, but they are voting with social justice on their minds, and they are voting for anti-biblical values.\u00a0 The younger generations need our prayers.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">First things first, our young people need Jesus. Without Him at the center, nothing else will matter or make sense to them.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But the natural [unbelieving] man does not accept the things [the teachings and revelations] of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness [absurd and illogical] to him; and he is incapable of understanding them, because they are spiritually discerned and appreciated, [and he is unqualified to judge spiritual matters] (1 Corinthians 2:14 AMP)<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pray for the salvation of our youth and young adults, both men and women.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them (2 Corinthians 4:3-4).<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pray for an unveiling of truth and for spiritual blindness to be broken off of them.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A majority of young women voted against life, and they ironically voted for women who are mothers themselves, yet vowed to protect \u201creproductive rights.\u201d<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart (Ezekiel 36:26 NLT).\u00a0<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pray for a generation of young women who will advocate for life.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pray for hearts of stone in women to become hearts of flesh, Lord, give them a mother\u2019s heart.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Young women and men voted for social justice rather than biblical justice. While both care for the oppressed, biblical justice is centered around God\u2019s true definition of justice, where there is no impartiality or human agenda. It is centered around His nature, His holiness, and righteousness, and not man\u2019s.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The LORD executes righteousness and justice for all the oppressed. <\/span>He made known His ways<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> [<\/span>of righteousness and justice]<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel (Psalm 103:6-7 AMP).<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pray that young people will be taught to know and understand God\u2019s ways and vote accordingly.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span>The battleground for our young people\u2019s souls begins with their education<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now that we know how millennials and Gen Z are voting, we must continue to intercede. It is becoming increasingly apparent that our schools and college campuses are focusing less on education and more on indoctrination. Because they are being told that Marxism and Socialism will be the answer to America\u2019s economic problems, they are voting that way. Because feminism thrives and \u201cgender equality\u201d is pushed in schools and colleges, young women vote in favor. Because life is not valued in the womb, but taught as a \u201cright,\u201d women vote to protect that right. It is a battle for the truth.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free (John 8:32).<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pray for teachers, professors, and those who influence our young people.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pray that lying lips will be silenced. False doctrines, misinformation, and propaganda will be exposed and cut off.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pray and vote in your local elections. What happens in our schools is due to who is elected to the school board, city council, and other positions.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While these elections were a victory for young women, we can thank God that young people are seeing the value of making their voice heard by showing up to vote. While they are not voting as we would have hoped, the point is they are showing up. Men were outnumbered, and let\u2019s not forget the astounding number of Christians who do not vote at all.<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pray for men to rise and lead the way. Men are called by God to be leaders, and when they sit back and let women lead, it is out of alignment with God\u2019s will.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pray for Christians to wake up and show up at the polls.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gen Alpha will be voting soon. How will they be influenced to vote? Will they be voting in alignment with biblical truth, voting their feelings, or will they be like many Christians and not vote at all? Who will influence them, the world or the church?<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16)<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pray for believers, mothers, fathers, siblings, and Christians to seriously disciple these younger generations and instruct them in the ways of God.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Despite the results of these votes among young women and men, let\u2019s not forget that they are experiencing revival. There is a war for the children, youth, and young adults happening right now.\u00a0 This young generation was prophesied to be a part of a third great awakening. Could this be the reason for the warfare?\u00a0<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For I will pour out water to quench your thirst and to irrigate your parched fields. And I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your children. They will thrive like watered grass, like willows on a riverbank (Isaiah 44:3-4)<\/span>\n<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pray for a continued outpouring of God\u2019s Spirit on our young people in schools and college campuses.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How are you praying for young women and men?
