\u201cLet us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up\u201d (Galatians 6:9).<\/p>\n
The Apostle Paul shares with us in this passage that we do not need to give up. At the proper time, we will reap a harvest. When we try to follow Jesus, our lives will be much more complicated. Those who live according to the sinful flesh will not struggle as much with life because they are doing precisely what the sinful flesh wants.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The constant struggle between the flesh and the Spirit is documented by Paul, \u201cFor the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They conflict with each other, so you are not to do whatever you want. But if the Spirit leads you, you are not under the law\u201d (Galatians 5:17-18).\u00a0<\/p>\n
Satan wants to prevent people from being productive for the Lord. He will create roadblocks, problems, and troubles for believers who are truly following the Lord. We can fight back against him by putting on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).<\/p>\n
If you are going through a tough time right now, know that it is not because of God. He is not causing this challenging time to fall upon you. It is either Satan causing it, the effects of living in a sinful world, or sinful human nature. God is never the one who is causing the problems in our lives. Knowing this can help change our perspectives and give us the peace that comes from knowing God is on our side (Romans 8:31).\u00a0<\/p>\n
Rather than giving up, we need to challenge ourselves to keep going. The road ahead will be tough, but it will be worth the challenge. Allow God to help you as you climb this mountain and overcome it by His grace. Life might become harder; however, rest in the truth that you belong to the Savior. Everything will work out in the end.\u00a0<\/p>\n
