PHOENIX\u2014In an interview just months before his assassination, Turning Point USA founder\u00a0Charlie Kirk\u00a0said, \u201cI want to be\u00a0remembered\u00a0for courage for my faith, that\u00a0would be the most important thing. The\u00a0most important thing is my faith.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

More than 10,000 gathered at\u00a0AmericaFest\u00a0in Phoenix over the weekend, the first major Turning Point USA conference since Kirk\u2019s death on Sept. 10. When The Daily Signal asked attendees about Kirk\u2019s legacy, their responses showed that Kirk is being remembered exactly how he wanted to be.\n<\/p>\n

Charlie Kirk, a Christian Martyr<\/h2>\n

Attendees of Turning Point USA\u2019s AmericaFest shared with The Daily Signal that\u00a0Kirk\u2019s\u00a0faith has inspired them to live out their Christian faith.\n<\/p>\n

\u201cI see\u00a0Charlie\u00a0Kirk\u2019s legacy as living in\u00a0faith, living in purpose, living out his God-given gift of blessing others through communication, through civil discourse, and through living a life that was believing in the best of America, believing in\u00a0the best of his family,\u201d said a father who brought his three young daughters to the event. \u201c[Kirk] is\u00a0inspiring generations\u00a0to love Jesus.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Saw a guy there wearing the same thing.\n<\/p>\n

I shook his hand and he told me he started coming to church after what happened to Charlie.\n<\/p>\n

I felt that.\n<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u00a0see\u00a0Charlie\u00a0Kirk\u2019s legacy as a martyr who wanted to make a difference in the world,\u201d one young woman told The Daily Signal.\n<\/p>\n

One young man, wearing the white \u201cFreedom\u201d shirt Charlie was wearing when he was killed, said, \u201cI see him as a disciple, and a leader, and a role model, specifically to young men.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

TPUSA Announces \u2018Make Heaven Crowded Tour\u2019<\/h2>\n

AmericaFest also put faith at the center of the weekend\u2019s festivities.\n<\/p>\n

The conference included a Faith Night on Saturday with worship and prayer on the main stage. The audience also heard from Christian leaders like Allie Beth Stuckey and Bryce Crawford.\n<\/p>\n

On Sunday morning, the doors opened earlier than usual for continued worship and a church service.\n<\/p>\n

Since Kirk\u2019s death, the organization has partnered with over 8,000 churches nationwide. Kirk\u2019s wife and new Turning Point USA CEO, Erika Kirk, announced the organization\u2019s 2026 Make Heaven Crowded tour.\n<\/p>\n

Andrew Kolvet, Turning Point spokesman and executive producer of \u201cThe Charlie Kirk Show,\u201d told Christian Broadcasting Network that this will be a \u201crevival tour all across the country.\u201d The tour will travel to major cities, including Washington, D.C., Phoenix, and Nashville.\n<\/p>\n

Faith Takes Center Stage<\/h2>\n

Speakers from the main stage extolled the virtues of Charlie Kirk\u2019s faith as well.\n<\/p>\n

\u201cCharlie\u2019s death made me want to reconnect with God,\u201d said\u00a0Fox News\u00a0host Jesse Watters on the main stage Saturday night. He had previously shared with Erika Kirk that, since Charlie Kirk\u2019s death, he has formed a Bible study with his male co-hosts on \u201cThe Five,\u201d calling it \u201cthe most beautiful thing.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Vice President JD Vance\u00a0took the stage on Sunday and asked the audience to \u201cpromise to honor his legacy by having faith in the God he loved.\u201d\n<\/p>\n
