I press on toward the goal. . . .<br \/>\n \u2014 Philippians 3:13<\/p>\n<p>I remember cleaning out the garage one spring, determined to get rid of clutter. As I opened old boxes, I found items tied to painful memories\u2014things I had held on to \u201cjust in case.\u201d But I realized those things were taking up space, both physically and emotionally, and keeping me from moving forward.\u00a0Paul\u2019s words hit home. He understood that looking back for too long\u2014especially at guilt, regret, or even past achievements\u2014can weigh us down. Moving forward in faith requires letting go of what was so that we can embrace what God is doing now.\u00a0It\u2019s not that the past doesn\u2019t matter, but it doesn\u2019t have the power to define your future. Whether it was a mistake you made, an opportunity you missed, or even a version of yourself that no longer fits\u2014God invites you to release it.He\u2019s doing something new, but your hands have to be free to receive it.\u00a0Start this new season with a heart willing to let go. Not because the past doesn\u2019t matter, but because your future in Christ matters more.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Lord, help me to let go of the things that hold me back.
