\/>\ninherit Christianity it&#8217;s not my flesh<br \/>\nand blood nor the will of man there is<br \/>\nnothing that you can do to automatically<br \/>\nmake yourself acceptable to the kingdom<br \/>\nof God you can go to church you can live<br \/>\na decent life you can be a good for<br \/>\nilliterate person but that does not make<br \/>\nyou a Christian you can have the<br \/>\nChristian characteristics but that<br \/>\ndoesn&#8217;t make you a Christian there are<br \/>\nthousands of people in America tonight<br \/>\nthey think they&#8217;re Christian but in<br \/>\nactuality they are not Christian in the<br \/>\nnarrow sense of the term they&#8217;ve never<br \/>\nbeen born again they&#8217;ve never received<br \/>\nChrist into their heart and if they died<br \/>\nthey would not go to heaven they were<br \/>\nChristian in a person that is had a<br \/>\npersonal encounter with Jesus Christ<br \/>\na Christian is a person that has made a<br \/>\ndecision for accepting Christ as Savior<br \/>\nLord you&#8217;ve accepted him give committed<br \/>\nyour life to him now the first thing is<br \/>\na Christian is a person that is made a<br \/>\nchoice you&#8217;ve made a decision you&#8217;ve had<br \/>\nan encounter with the Living God do you<br \/>\nreceive Christ into your heart that is<br \/>\nthe first step in being a Christian has<br \/>\nthat happened to you as there come a<br \/>\nmoment in your life when you repented of<br \/>\nyour sin when you acknowledge that<br \/>\nyou&#8217;re a sinner when you say no God I&#8217;m<br \/>\nwilling to turn from my sins and then by<br \/>\nfaith you receive Christ as your Lord<br \/>\nand Savior now that&#8217;s the starting point<br \/>\noh there many people that are trying to<br \/>\nlive the Christian life but Christ us<br \/>\nlive in their heart because a Christian<br \/>\nis a person in whom Christ well<br \/>\nbut when you receive right the Holy<br \/>\nSpirit comes into your heart and gives<br \/>\nyou a new moral nature and you have<br \/>\npower and you have strength to live the<br \/>\nChristian life now no one can live the<br \/>\nChristian life until first he&#8217;s been to<br \/>\nthe cross and received Christ to see<br \/>\nChrist died on the cross by shed his<br \/>\nblood browses but you must come and<br \/>\nreceive Christ that is an act of your<br \/>\nwill intellectually you say yes I<br \/>\nbelieve but that&#8217;s not enough<br \/>\nemotionally you might have had a motion<br \/>\nexperience but that&#8217;s not enough are you<br \/>\nwill you must say I will receive Christ<br \/>\nI will give my life to Christ but then<br \/>\nafter that something else must take<br \/>\nplace the second thing is a change must<br \/>\ntake place in your life the Bible says<br \/>\nall things have passed away behold all<br \/>\nthings become you there must be a<br \/>\ndefinite change in the way you live by<br \/>\nchanging your attitude a change in your<br \/>\nattitude toward God you must love God<br \/>\nsupremely you must put God first in all<br \/>\nthe choices and decisions of your life<br \/>\nthey must be a change in your attitude<br \/>\ntoward yourself no longer are you ego<br \/>\nsensing no longer are you selfish no<br \/>\nlonger is everything done just for self<br \/>\nand to free self there must also be a<br \/>\nchange in your attitude toward your<br \/>\nneighbor you must love your neighbor as<br \/>\nyourself and so there must be a change<br \/>\nin your life old things pass away behold<br \/>\nall things become new how many people<br \/>\nclaim to be Christian but they don&#8217;t<br \/>\nhave any peace in their life<br \/>\nthere&#8217;s no love in their life<br \/>\nthere&#8217;s no walk with Christ there&#8217;s no<br \/>\nthrill they get angry quickly they&#8217;re<br \/>\nsensitive they&#8217;re jealous they&#8217;re filled<br \/>\nwith pride I tell you the Christian life<br \/>\nwas never meant to be that way give your<br \/>\nlife to Christ and make sure that it is<br \/>\nin your heart<br \/>\nsome of you give your life to Christ<br \/>\ntonight for the first time others of you<br \/>\ncan come and rededicate your life and<br \/>\nsay tonight I&#8217;m going to surrender my<br \/>\nlife to Christ a new and a fresh I&#8217;m<br \/>\ngoing to give myself to him you cannot<br \/>\ncome to Christ anytime you want to you<br \/>\ncan only come when the Spirit of God is<br \/>\nspeaking and tonight the Spirit of God<br \/>\nis speaking to hundreds of people here<br \/>\nhe&#8217;s speaking to you there you can give<br \/>\nyour life to Christ right now and say<br \/>\ntonight I give myself to it many of you<br \/>\nat church members many of your Christian<br \/>\nbut you need to rededicate
