This year\u2019s Super Bowl was filled with highs and lows. On one hand, the game began with a performance of the \u201cBlack National Anthem,\u201d dividing viewers across the nation. On the other hand, during Turning Point USA\u2019s alternative halftime show, millions hear the presentation of the Gospel.\n<\/p>\n

Super Bowl LX fans criticized the NFL after singer Coco Jones performed \u201cLift Every Voice and Sing,\u201d\u00a0also known as the \u201cBlack National Anthem,\u201d before the game.\n<\/p>\n

The song \u201chas been a source of consternation for NFL fans since the league started to use the song during the 2020 season,\u201d Fox News\u00a0reported. Jones sang the song \u201cas fans began to trickle into Levi\u2019s Stadium in Santa Clara, California\u201d for Super Bowl LX between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks.\n<\/p>\n

Breitbart News\u00a0reported\u00a0that fans also took to social media in 2025 for Super Bowl LX after the \u201cBlack National Anthem\u201d was also performed, pointing out that \u201cthere is only one National Anthem.\u201d<\/p>\n

Football fans were quick to call out the divisive move. As one X user put it, \u201cNothing helps spread the NFL\u2019s message of unity and togetherness quite like a national anthem for black people only.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

However, white the Super Bowl chose to divide fans, Turning Point USA shared the ultimate message of unity. As part of the group\u2019s \u201cAll-American Halftime Show,\u201d headliner Kid Rock shared a powerful Gospel message.\n<\/p>\n

Kid Rock shared the Gospel message at Turning Point USA\u2019s \u201cAll-American Halftime Show\u201d with a cover of Cody Johnson\u2019s chart-topping hit \u201cTil\u2019 You Can\u2019t,\u201d adding a new faith-focused verse he said came to him unexpectedly.\n<\/p>\n

The roughly\u00a040-minute broadcast, organized by Turning Point USA, streamed as an alternative to the Super Bowl halftime show headlined by Bad Bunny. Kid Rock headlined the show, which was primarily broadcast on Turning Point USA\u2019s official YouTube channel, drawing over 5 million live viewers during the stream.\n<\/p>\n

The 55-year-old singer first debuted a modified version of the song at the Hondo Rodeo Fest last fall, introducing a personal verse centered on faith and redemption. The lyrics reference returning to the Bible and surrendering one\u2019s life to Jesus. He dedicated the performance to Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.<\/p>\n

As the Post notes, this added verse includes the lyrics, \u201cThere\u2019s a book that\u2019s sitting in your house somewhere that could use some dusting off \/ There\u2019s a man that died for all our sins hanging from the cross \/ You can give your life to Jesus and he\u2019ll give you a second chance \/ \u2018Til you can\u2019t, \u2019til you can\u2019t.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Following the halftime show, Turning Point USA CEO Erika Kirk explained that the goal of the event was to \u201cmake Heaven crowded.\u201d She dedicated to performance to her slain husband, stating confidently that \u201cCharlie would\u2019ve absolutely loved it.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

It is shocking that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said that Bad Bunny was chosen for the official halftime show to create a \u201cunified moment.\u201d While the NFL claimed to preach unity, it actually sowed division through its exclusionary black national anthem and its controversial halftime pick. Meanwhile, Turning Point USA brought the most authentic, true unity possible by sharing the love of Jesus Christ with millions of Americans.\n<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s thank God for the success of Turning Point\u2019s halftime show, and let\u2019s ask God to water every seed that Kid Rock planted!\n<\/p>\n
