Rather, all the Chairman has suggested thus far is legislation that would require local authorities to work with federal law enforcement when dealing with alien criminals.

This proposed legislation comes at a time when immigration enforcement tensions in America are at an all-time high. President Trump has battled with the leaders of sanctuary jurisdictions since his second inauguration. Most recently, the Trump administration fought with Minnesota, leading to a surge of federal law enforcement officers to the northern state. As Just the News notes, however, this surge recently came to an end as Border Czar Tom Homan secured agreements with local jurisdictions to work with federal law enforcement.

We at IFA have prayed for years now for an end to these harmful sanctuary policies. Let’s pray for wisdom for Chairman Jordan and all other lawmakers involved as they draft this legislation!

Share your prayers for Chairman Jordan below.

(Excerpt from Just the News.
