For hundreds of years, Christians around the\u00a0world have celebrated Lent during the 40 days leading up to Easter.\u00a0 It is a time for reflection, repentance, and recalibrating the GPS of our souls.\u00a0 Red Letter Christians is excited to team up with Freedom Road to offer this special series hosted by Shane Claiborne and Lisa Sharon Harper.\u00a0 Lisa and Shane offer a brief daily reflection and a concrete call to action each day of Lent \u2014 40 Days\u2026 40 Ways!\u00a0 The series is FREE but we\u2019re inviting everyone who can to give a $40 contribution to RLC.\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n

Lent invites us to slow down, reflect, and realign our lives with the Way of Jesus.

Today, our Board Chair, Todd Yeary, shares why this year\u2019s 40 Days, 40 Ways journey<\/strong> matters and why now is the time to live our faith more boldly and embodied in the world around us.<\/p>\n

In the early Church, followers of Jesus were known not just for what they believed, but for how they lived. They called it \u201cThe Way.\u201d<\/p>\n

Through this Lenten season, Red Letter Christians will be joined by Shane Claiborne and Lisa Sharon Harper of Freedom Road to guide us in rediscovering the Gospel as a way of life\u2014courageous, rooted in love, and faithful in such a time as this.<\/p>\n

Beginning today, Ash Wednesday, we\u2019ll share daily videos with weekly themes to help us practice the Jesus Way in our everyday lives.<\/p>\n
