On Tuesday, during his State of the Union address, he called on Congress to enact this policy.\n<\/p>\n<h4>Get involved in state-level prayer with IFA.<\/h4>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>From Breitbart:\n<\/p>\n<p>President Donald Trump, during Tuesday\u2019s State of the Union address, called on Congress to enact his most favored nation program to keep drug prices low.\n<\/p>\n<p>Trump said he enacted \u201cmost favored nation\u201d agreements to address the issue that Americans \u201cby far\u201d pay the highest cost for prescription drugs, and to ensure that Americans pay the lowest cost for prescription drugs.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI took prescription drugs, a very big part of health care, from the highest price in the entire world to the lowest, that\u2019s a big achievement,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Highlighting the impact of this policy, President Trump recognized Catherine Rayner, a Navy spouse. In an effort to battle infertility, Rayner had been taking a drug that cost her $4,000 per purchase. Under the most favored nation program, however, Rayner was able to purchase the same drug for only $500.\n<\/p>\n<p>The most favored policy is just one of the many ways President Trump is working to reform healthcare and save Americans\u2019 money. He mused that future presidents may not try to undo the policy, as doing so would lead to higher prices. Nevertheless, he called on Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune to codify the program.\n<\/p>\n<p>This program is helping Americans get the medicine they need at a fraction of the price.
