{"id":20164,"date":"2026-02-27T09:34:30","date_gmt":"2026-02-27T09:34:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biblelon.com\/?p=20164"},"modified":"2026-02-27T09:34:30","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T09:34:30","slug":"february-27th-chronological-bible-readings-chronological-bible-blog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biblelon.com\/?p=20164","title":{"rendered":"February 27th Chronological Bible Readings \u2013 Chronological Bible Blog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\"><strong>Numbers 2:1-3:51<\/strong><\/span><br \/><em><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\">~ Click here to read today\u2019s Scripture on Bible Gateway ~<\/span><\/em><br \/><span style=\"color: black\"><em>~ Listen to today\u2019s Scripture with <\/em><em>The ESV Bible<\/em><\/span> ~<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\">Today in Numbers chapter 2 we read about the organization of Israel\u2019s camp!\u00a0 For some reason I really like these types of chapters \u2013 chapters where we get what may seem at first glance to be \u201cjust a bunch of details\u201d and maybe we even ask occasionally, \u201cwhat\u2019s the point?\u201d\u00a0 For me, the details are the point!\u00a0 I don\u2019t know about you, but I\u2019ll confess this here and now on the blog \u2013 I\u2019m a bit of a packrat.\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 Seriously.\u00a0 And not only that \u2013 but I have seasons of crazy disorganization in my house and in my life.\u00a0 And I of course remember the old adage, \u201ccleanliness is next to godliness\u2026.\u201d\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 And yes, I guess I can at times feel guilty about my disorganization.\u00a0 But, for some odd reason just this past few weeks I\u2019ve been on an organization kick.\u00a0 The homestead has been getting a serious cleaning.\u00a0 I\u2019m getting rid of stuff that I really really don\u2019t need to keep.\u00a0 And then I read chapters like this in Numbers, and I realize that God is a God of order.\u00a0 He likes things organized.\u00a0 And I think we as followers of God do well when we get things organized in our lives too \u2013 our housekeeping, our finances, how we spend our time, etc.\u00a0 Now, don\u2019t hear me say that you should be obsessive compulsive about order\u2026 \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 But\u2026\u00a0 I am seeing amazing benefits in my life of being organized.\u00a0 A good overview of the camp in Numbers chapter 2 is in this image below:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\"><strong>Worship Video:<\/strong>\u00a0 Today\u2019s readings in Numbers reminded me of MercyMe\u2019s song \u201cYou Reign:\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><\/span><br \/>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=8eow2hNlA-k<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\">Do you know our God who reigns?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\">Click here to meet your King!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\"><strong>Please join us in memorizing and meditating on a verse of Scripture today:<\/strong><em> \u201cSo the Israelites did everything the LORD commanded Moses; that is the way they encamped under their standards, and that is the way they set out, each of them with their clan and family.\u201d<\/em> Numbers 2:34 NIV<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\"><strong>Prayer Point:<\/strong> Pray that you do everything the LORD commands you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\"><strong>Comments from You:<\/strong> What verses or insights stand out to you in today\u2019s readings?\u00a0 Please post up by clicking on the \u201cComments\u201d link below!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\">God bless,<br \/>Mike<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\">p.s.
