Despite the rise in violence committed by transgender individuals, the mainstream media has insisted there is no such thing as a trans violence epidemic. However, according to The Federalist, trans-violence is actually far worse than the media is letting on.\n<\/p>\n

We\u2019re repeatedly told that transgender-identifying individuals are not prone to commit gun violence. Major outlets \u2014 including the\u00a0The New York Times,\u00a0AP,\u00a0CNN, and\u00a0The Washington Post\u00a0\u2014 publish articles arguing that transgender attacks are extremely rare and run headlines calling out conservative bias: \u201cThe right exploits Nashville shooting to escalate anti-trans rhetoric\u201d and \u201cConservatives use Minneapolis shooting in anti-transgender campaigns.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

In the wake of the attacks in\u00a0Canada\u00a0and\u00a0Pawtucket, Rhode Island, over the past couple of weeks, public debate has once again focused on transgender murderers. But the\u00a0AP, CNN, ABC News, NBC News, MS Now, and the New York Times\u00a0never mentioned the Rhode Island shooter identified as transgender.\u00a0AP\u00a0never mentioned the Canadian mass murderer was transgender. Other transgender-identifying people recently also posed serious threats even though they never got a chance to fire a shot. For example,\u00a0Nicholas Roske, who now identifies as transgender, attempted to murder Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh and took concrete steps toward carrying out the attack before authorities stopped him.\n<\/p>\n

The media, however, continues to make basic statistical mistakes in claiming transgender-identifying people aren\u2019t disproportionately violent. Transgender-identifying shooters commit mass public shootings and active shootings at rates far above their share of the population. In 2024, for example, transgender-identifying individuals accounted for a share of active shooter attacks that was at least\u00a012 times larger than their share of the population.<\/p>\n

According to The Federalist, the media\u2019s underrepresentation of trans violence largely stems from statistical errors and differing definitions. According to the article, media outlets like Politifact and AP \u201cmake a key error when they report only the transgender share of attacks without adjusting for the group\u2019s small share of the overall population.\u201d It is true that trans individuals commit only 5 percent of mass shootings, but the media fails to mention that trans individuals only account for around 0.73% of the population.\n<\/p>\n

The mainstream media also relies on overly broad definitions of mass shootings. According to The Federalist, many publications include gang fights, robberies, and other, similar incidents as \u201cmass shootings.\u201d The FBI\u2019s shooting reports, meanwhile, exclude these sorts of incidents, allowing for more precise information on mass shootings. These different definitions make trans shooters appear rarer than they actually are.\n<\/p>\n

When trans violence is filtered through the population size and correct definitions, it reveals that transgender individuals are\u00a0six times more likely to commit a mass shooting<\/strong> than the average American.\n<\/p>\n

It is not surprising that the mainstream media would lie in an effort to protect trans individuals. However, doing so hides the truth about just how twisted and dangerous the transgenderism ideology is. Let\u2019s pray for the truth about trans violence to be revealed, and let\u2019s pray for an end to the influence of this ideology in America!\n<\/p>\n
