\u201cFor our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm.\u201d -Ephesians 6:12\u2028<\/em><\/p>\n In sports they often refer to what\u2019s known as a \u201csecond wind\u201d. It\u2019s been said that if you push yourself to a certain degree of physical exhaustion where you think you can go no further, something triggers. It\u2019s like a weight has been lifted. You\u2019re no longer tired. No longer striving. All of a sudden, it becomes easy. It\u2019s like a rush of strength and energy is suddenly there. You are able to win the race. You are able to fight the good fight. All because of a second wind.<\/p>\n The same is true in life with God. It is called breaking through the \u2018demon wall\u2019. Things happen. Circumstances hit. Suddenly we\u2019re backed into a corner. There\u2019s a roadblock. We don\u2019t think we can go any further. We don\u2019t think that we can go on. But then we break through. Something miraculous happens. We didn\u2019t think we could make it through the darkest of nights. But the night is darkest just before the dawn. And we find that just beyond that wall is the light of the sun, leading us to our vision, to our destination.<\/p>\n What has been holding you back from your destiny? Is it fear of failure? Fear of loss? Anger toward others? Bitterness for things that did or didn\u2019t happen? Challenging circumstances? Whatever it is, God is here to help us overcome. He\u2019s placed an overcoming Spirit inside of you, able to overcome any and every circumstance that is thrown your way. He says we can \u201cdo all things through Christ who strengthens (us).\u201d (Phil 4:13) Not just some things \u2013 ALL things.
