Two other fatalities from an Iranian drone attack on an operations center in Kuwait were accounted for later.\n<\/p>\n<p>The fallen soldiers were identified in an Army Reserve Command\u00a0press release\u00a0as Capt. Cody Khork, 35, from Winter Haven, Florida; Sgt. 1st Class Noah Tietjens, 42, of Bellevue, Neb.; Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39, of White Bear Lake, Minn.; and Sgt. Declan J. Coady, 20, of West Des Moines, Iowa, all assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command at Des Moines, Iowa.<\/p>\n<p>The soldiers were killed by an Iranian strike on Kuwait. The identities of the other two soldiers who died are currently being withheld so that families can be notified first.\n<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, the U.S. joined Israel to strike Iran in what is being called Operation Epic Fury, prompting swift and severe military backlash from Iran. CBS reported on Monday that 6 soldiers have been killed thus far, while another 18 have been seriously injured.\n<\/p>\n<p>President Trump announced earlier this week that the operation is expected to last four to five weeks, so the fighting has only just begun. On Sunday night, President Trump offered a prayer for the wounded and the families of the fallen, saying, \u201cWe pray for the full recovery of the wounded and send our immense love and eternal gratitude to the families of the fallen.\u201d He did state, however, that more lives may be lost in the future, adding, \u201cAnd sadly, there will likely be more before it ends.
