And recently, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, a controversial Senate candidate, vowed to drop out of his race if the SAVE Act is passed.\n<\/p>\n<h4>Do you want state prayer alerts?<\/h4>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>From Breitbart:\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Save America Act is the most important bill the U.S. Senate could ever pass, and I\u2019m committed to helping President Trump get it done,\u201d Paxton wrote in a post on X. \u201cI would consider dropping out of this race if Senate Leadership agrees to lift the filibuster and passes the SAVE America Act.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>He also blasted Cornyn as \u201ca coward.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJohn Cornyn is a coward who has refused to support abolishing the filibuster to pass this bill,\u201d he wrote. \u201cNow, Fake News reporters and the establishment are trying to destroy me with misinformation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In his post, Attorney General Paxton touted his loyalty to the President, highlighting how he fought \u201cthe stolen 2020 election\u201d and stood \u201cwith him in NY in the face of lawfare.\u201d He stressed that he is \u201cdetermined to help him get this done.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>In Tuesday\u2019s primary, both Attorney General Paxton and Senator John Cornyn failed to secure their party\u2019s nomination for the Senate race, securing 41 and 42 percent of the vote respectively. The two will now advance to a May 26 runoff that will determine which Republican will fight for Texas\u2019 available Senate seat.\n<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, President Trump announced on Truth Social he would soon endorse one of the candidates, calling on the other to \u201cDROP OUT OF THE RACE\u201d following his endorsement. The Attorney General, however, said he wouldn\u2019t drop out if he did not receive an enforcement, a sentiment that frustrated the President.\n<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s midterms promise to be contentious and critical. It\u2019s important that our leaders pass the SAVE Act to secure one of the most important elections of our lifetime.
