Death threats, terrorism, and antisemitism. It\u2019s a sad fact that these topics are popping up in newsfeeds on a daily basis. The lies attached to them are even worse, but with careful discernment and prayer, it\u2019s possible to dispel them all.\n<\/p>\n

CNN Empathizes with Terrorists<\/h2>\n

The first lie told by the Left this week revolves around liberal news network CNN. While CNN insists that it provides unbiased, honest news coverage, the truth is that its version of reality is often skewed.\n<\/p>\n

The New York Sun<\/em> published an article titled CNN Is Not a Serious Organization: Embattled Network Denounced for Sympathetic Coverage of ISIS Terror Suspects. <\/em>The piece points out the troubling fact that CNN is making terrorists appear like \u201cnormal teenagers enjoying the weather.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

CNN\u2019s original post read like this: \u201cTwo Pennsylvania teenagers crossed into New York City Saturday morning for what could\u2019ve been a normal day enjoying the abnormally warm weather. But in less than an hour, their lives would drastically change as the pair would be arrested for throwing homemade bombs during an anti-Muslim protest outside the home of Mayor Zohran Mamdani.\u201d <\/em>\n<\/p>\n

The backlash to CNN\u2019s version of reality was swift. The White House rapid response account on X responded, \u201cNo, they\u2019re radical Islamic terrorists who threw an IED at a protest. We don\u2019t do that in America. Fake News CNN is not a serious organization.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Senator Eric Schmitt wrote, \u201cCNN got this headline wrong. It should be: \u2018Two radical Islamic terrorists came to NYC pledging allegiance to ISIS with bombs meant to kill Americans.\u2019 There, fixed it for you.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Other social media users were outraged by the CNN post. Many felt that the inappropriate, \u201ccasual tone\u201d made the terrorists look like victims.\n<\/p>\n

After the negative response, CNN tried to clean up its mess. A statement on X read,\u00a0 \u201cA post regarding the two individuals arrested for throwing homemade bombs outside of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani\u2019s home failed to reflect the gravity of the incident, thereby breaching the editorial standards we require for all our reporting. It therefore has been deleted.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Editorial standards? This is just one of many incidents<\/em> where editorial standards have not only fallen short but have disappeared altogether. These days, the Left goes out of its way to sympathize with radical Islam. Whether it\u2019s raging feminists, LGBTQ activists, or fired-up socialists, there\u2019s a clear alliance between these groups and the liberal media. The truth is that terrorism in any form should not be tolerated in America, and sympathy towards it is unacceptable.\n<\/p>\n

Democratic Socialist Displays His True Colors<\/h2>\n

The next lie told by the Left this week involves Democratic socialist Graham Platner, who is currently running against Gov. Janet Mills in the Democrats\u2019 US Senate primary. The liberal candidate has openly admitted that he has a tattoo that bears a striking resemblance to the Totenkopf, a Nazi symbol used by Hitler\u2019s Schutzstaffel (SS).\n<\/p>\n

While Platner insists he\u2019s not a \u201csecret Nazi,\u201d his comments in recent months have led many to raise eyebrows. The New York Post<\/em> points out, \u201cIn January, he told Nate Cornacchia, a conspiracy theorist fond of blaming the assassinations of JFK and Charlie Kirk on the tiny nation on the eastern edge of the Mediterranean (Israel), that he was a \u2018longtime fan\u2019 as the two sat down for an hour-long podcast interview.\u201d \u00a0<\/em>\n<\/p>\n

Weeks after the interview, Platner retweeted a post from Stew Peters, a political influencer who has likened Judaism to a \u201cdeath cult\u201d and foments harmful Jewish conspiracy theories. Furthermore, Platner\u2019s ad campaigns demonize Israel, with one insisting that \u201cGaza is a genocide,\u201d and another asking \u201cWhy are we funding Netanyahu\u2019s genocide in Palestine?\u201d\n<\/p>\n

The New York<\/em> Post <\/em>suggests, \u201cThe man knows what his base wants: a laundered version of the world\u2019s oldest hatred.\u201d Platner joins a long list of liberals such as California Gov. Gavin Newsom, former Vice President Kamala Harris, and New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, all of whom support the \u201cGaza genocide\u201d narrative.\n<\/p>\n

Today\u2019s Leftists claim they stand for freedom and democracy, but their words and actions say the exact opposite. In a world where down is up and up is down, Democratic candidates support what is evil, rather than ideals that bring true liberation. Their disguises, however, are being shed as Americans learn the truth about their intentions.\n<\/p>\n

Deranged Woman Spews MAGA Death Threats<\/h2>\n

The next lie told by the Left this week comes from a vengeful woman in Florida who believes MAGA supporters should be shot on sight. Recently, a federal jury found Desiree Doreen Segari guilty of \u201cinterstate communication of a threat to injure.\u201d The United States Attorney\u2019s office stated, \u201cSegari faces a maximum penalty of five years in federal prison. Her sentencing hearing is scheduled for May 5, 2026.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Segari posted a TikTok video on August 17, 2025, where she declared, \u201cPeople like that (MAGA supporters) respond to fear and terror and aggression, not logic and empathy and, I don\u2019t know, intelligence. It just doesn\u2019t work for them. Fear works.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

The deranged woman continued, \u201cSo if we all get our guns and use our Second Amendment right and our common sense \u2013 at this point this administration is begging us to rise up and revolt \u2013 and you see somebody with a MAGA hat, \u2018Pew pew\u2019 that\u2019s what we do, that\u2019s the way, it\u2019s the only way.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

Segari mimicked the firing of a gun as she made her threats. Her rant increased as she exclaimed, \u201cPut them back in their basements, make them scared again to be racist, homophobic, and terrible just awful [expletive],\u201d and \u201cMAGA people deserve to be terrified and scared to walk in the streets because they should know that real Americans are gonna [mouths expletive] kill them.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

The woman\u2019s thirst for vengeance was so great that she included a caption in her video which read, \u201c#seemagapewpewmaga starting a new trend, hope it\u00a0<\/strong>catches on. Please spread the word. Share this video. Repost it.\u00a0<\/strong>Use the hashtag all over the internet. Let\u2019s go guys. It\u2019s time to fight back in a potentially effective manner.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

The emotional and spiritual issues of this woman are obvious, but they were not created in a vacuum. Assassination culture is a real trend among far-Left supporters who see hate and death as the answer to their problems. But as followers of Jesus, we know the answer cannot come from violence and death threats. Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. As the Prince of Peace, He is the only one who can set the captives free and heal our nation.\n<\/p>\n

Lord Jesus, we know that rampant lies are a symptom of a deep, spiritual sickness in our nation. We pray for deliverance, healing, and restoration as these deceptions become more prevalent. Give us eyes to see and ears to hear as we counter all attacks on the truth.\n<\/p>\n
