{"id":22418,"date":"2026-03-15T20:24:09","date_gmt":"2026-03-15T20:24:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biblelon.com\/?p=22418"},"modified":"2026-03-15T20:24:09","modified_gmt":"2026-03-15T20:24:09","slug":"march-15th-chronological-bible-readings-chronological-bible-blog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biblelon.com\/?p=22418","title":{"rendered":"March 15th Chronological Bible Readings \u2013 Chronological Bible Blog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\"><strong>Deuteronomy 10:1-12:32<\/strong><\/span><br \/><em><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\">~ Click here to read today\u2019s Scripture on Bible Gateway ~<\/span><\/em><br \/><span><em>~ Listen to today\u2019s Scripture with <\/em><em>The ESV Bible<\/em><\/span> ~<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span>Wow.\u00a0 Deuteronomy chapter 10 verses 12 through 22 are about as inspiring of a speech as any from Moses.\u00a0 What a great exhortation for the Israelites to love and be obedient to God!\u00a0 There are surely some words of wisdom for us in these verses today as well.\u00a0 Below are a couple of great images from these verses and here are verses 12 &amp; 13, which I love:\u00a0 <em>\u201cAnd now, O Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the LORD\u2019s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good? \u201c<\/em> <\/span><br \/><span><em\/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span><em>\u2013<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><span><em>\u2013<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span>Wow.\u00a0 I like Deuteronomy chapter 11 a lot today. There are a ton of powerful verses in this chapter!\u00a0 I love verse 22 \u2013 <em>\u201c\u201dBe careful to obey all the commands I give you; show love to the LORD your God by walking in his ways and clinging to him.\u201d <\/em>I really like that\u2026 show Love to God by walking in his ways \u2013 and clinging to him.\u00a0 I think I caught that term in our readings yesterday as well \u2013 \u201cclinging.\u201d\u00a0 I know in our world today it\u2019s not too cool to be too clingy. \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 But, I think God indeed wants us to be clingy when it comes Him!\u00a0 I pray that I cling to God each and every day.\u00a0 How about you?\u00a0 When it comes to God, are you clingy?\u00a0 Check out this amazing stained glass image of a woman clinging to the cross. Amazing.\u00a0 I love the imagery. Take a few moments to meditate on this one\u2026<\/span><br \/><span\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span>Verses 26 through 28 are terrific verses on the choice the Israelites could make back then \u2013 <em>\u201c\u201dToday I am giving you the choice between a blessing and a curse! You will be blessed if you obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today. You will receive a curse if you reject the commands of the LORD your God and turn from his way by worshiping foreign gods.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 I believe this choice has morphed but still continues today through the New Covenant.\u00a0 We can choose to follow Jesus or we can choose to follow our own ways.\u00a0 One way is a blessing and one way is truly a curse.\u00a0 Like the Israelites, we still have the choice of a blessing or a curse\u2026.\u00a0 Which choice will we make?\u00a0 <\/span><br \/><span\/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span><strong>Worship Video:<\/strong> Today\u2019s readings in Deuteronomy 11 reminds me of the fantastic song by John Waller called \u201cThe Blessing:\u201d<\/span><br \/><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><\/span><br \/>\n<br \/>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=sWs-4tPGMGE<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span>Have you been eternally blessed by Jesus?\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span>Click here and be Blessed!<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span><strong>Please join us in memorizing and meditating on three verses of Scripture today: <\/strong><em>\u201cSee, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse- the blessing if you obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today; the curse if you disobey the commands of the LORD your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known.\u201d<\/em> Deuteronomy 11:26-28 NIV<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span><strong>Prayer Point: <\/strong> Pray that you will always choose God\u2019s blessing for your life by walking in obedience to Him and His Word.
