<\/p>\n
As long as I live on this earth, my body is finite, bound by space and time. But God is outside of time. He\u2019s always existed and always will. He\u2019s without beginning or end. He sees everything; there\u2019s no past and future in Him, only now.<\/p>\n
New Testament writer and Christ-follower Paul wrote, \u201cFor he chose us in him before the creation of the world\u2026In love, he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will\u2014to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves\u201d (Ephesians 1:4-6 NIV).<\/p>\n
By faith, I believe He chose me before He created the world. My future existence as His child was known to Him from the beginning of creation. Yet, I had the freedom to choose and came to Him willingly. I can\u2019t explain how this is true, but I believe God can do anything as is taught throughout Scripture.<\/p>\n
When doubts come to me and I wonder if I\u2019m secure, I cling to the truth that I was His before I was born.<\/p>\n
