{"id":24089,"date":"2026-03-28T08:26:13","date_gmt":"2026-03-28T08:26:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biblelon.com\/?p=24089"},"modified":"2026-03-28T08:26:13","modified_gmt":"2026-03-28T08:26:13","slug":"march-28th-chronological-bible-readings-chronological-bible-blog","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biblelon.com\/?p=24089","title":{"rendered":"March 28th Chronological Bible Readings \u2013 Chronological Bible Blog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\"><strong>Joshua 18:1-19:48<\/strong><\/span><br \/><em><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\">~ Click here to read today\u2019s Scripture on Bible Gateway ~<\/span><\/em><br \/><span style=\"color: black\"><em>~ Listen to today\u2019s Scripture with <\/em><em>The ESV Bible<\/em><\/span> ~<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\">In Joshua chapter 18 verse 1 today we read \u2013 <em>\u201cNow that the land was under Israelite control, the entire Israelite assembly gathered at Shiloh and set up the Tabernacle.\u201d<\/em>\u00a0 Shiloh was located about 25 miles north of Jerusalem.\u00a0 The tabernacle remained in Shiloh throughout the period of the Judges, or about 300 years.\u00a0 We will later read about Samuel traveling to Shiloh with his family. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\">The tabernacle at Shiloh may have looked something like this \u2013 <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\">Today we finish up reading about the Promised Land being divided among the tribes!\u00a0 Below is a great NASA photo with an overlay of a map of the twelve tribes:<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"font-size: 1.2em\"><strong>Worship Video:<\/strong> Today\u2019s readings in Joshua reminded me of Michael W.
