Dozens of illegal immigrants fled a Pennsylvania DMV when ICE officers responded to local tips, highlighting serious public safety concerns. The incident raises questions about who is allowed on our roads and how law enforcement protects communities.<\/p>\n

On April 3, several dozen immigrants were lined up at an Armstrong County, Pennsylvania DMV, allegedly waiting to secure commercial driver\u2019s licenses. They ran in all directions when ICE officers arrived at the strip mall location.<\/p>\n
Video footage showed young men waiting inside and outside the DMV, admitting to locals that they were from various countries. Locals shared the video and contacted the sheriff, who then notified the local ICE office.<\/p>\n
When the ICE officers arrived at the center, the long line quickly broke up, with everyone scattering in multiple directions. Sheriff Pitzer told the local newspaper that when he arrived, the ICE enforcement had already ended and that \u201cnumerous people scattered throughout the community. I\u2019m unsure of the reasons why they left. Were they illegal? Were they just scared? Obviously, we can\u2019t answer that. \u2026 It went even as far as people exiting their vehicles and abandoning them on the street.\u201d<\/p>\n

Allowing unverified individuals to operate commercial vehicles is reckless. Fatal crashes involving foreign drivers who cannot read or understand English have already claimed lives. Protecting innocent people on our roads is a matter of stewardship and justice (Isaiah 1:17).<\/p>\n
This incident also shows the importance of citizens supporting lawful enforcement. Communities that speak up help prevent danger and uphold order. Additionally, Pennsylvania\u2019s pause on issuing non-domiciled commercial licenses is a crucial step in keeping roads safe.<\/p>\n
Advocating for safety and justice is part of our calling as intercessors. Let’s pray for wisdom for leaders, courage for law enforcement, and protection over our communities.<\/p>\n
