A recent webinar hosted by some of the top teachers\u2019 unions in the United States that pushed a curriculum focused on the upcoming May Day protests is prompting education experts and watchdogs to sound the alarm about alleged political indoctrination inside classrooms.\n<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018There\u2019s probably gonna be a lot worse things that Trump does, and so May Day is a dress rehearsal for maybe there\u2019s a random day in, you know, June that we all are, like, no work, no school, no shopping, because of something Pete just did, right?\u2019 Dave Stieber, a history teacher in Chicago Public Schools, said during the presentation. \u201cSo this is a continuation and a buildup of that.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\u201cI did want to say I really encourage teachers of young children not to feel like this is stuff that\u2019s way beyond their students, not to be afraid of raising up social justice issues, including workers\u2019 rights, anti-racism, pro LGBT, LGBTQIA plus issues, immigration and immigrants rights,\u201d Kirstin Roberts, a pre-school teacher in Chicago Public Schools, says in the seminar.<\/p>\n

This webinar reflects a troubling trend where public education is being used as a platform for ideological formation rather than academic instruction.\n<\/p>\n

\u201cThe fact that they are targeting students as young as 3 years old with this anti-American propaganda should be criminal. The teachers unions will continue to use students as Marxist pawns until we have driven them out of our schools,\u201d Teacher Freedom Alliance CEO Ryan Walters told Fox News Digital.\n<\/p>\n

When unions and educators openly frame classroom content around political activism tied to protests like May Day, it raises serious questions about the boundaries between education and activism.\n<\/p>\n

The normalization of activism-focused curriculum also signals a broader cultural shift. Rather than teaching students how to think critically and engage truthfully with history and civics, the emphasis is on mobilization and participation in predetermined causes. This clearly blurs the line between instruction and indoctrination, especially when introduced to very young children.\n<\/p>\n

According to Scripture, parents are called to be the primary teachers of their children, but when schools begin shaping young minds toward specific political ideologies\u2014especially those rooted in secular activism\u2014it risks undermining that God-given responsibility.\n<\/p>\n

Children are impressionable, and what is introduced as \u201ceducation\u201d can quickly become formation.\n<\/p>\n

This is not merely a policy concern\u2014it is a spiritual one. The ideas being planted in classrooms today will shape the convictions of the next generation. Discernment is urgently needed as public institutions increasingly reflect values that may conflict with biblical truth.\n<\/p>\n

This is a call for intercessors to stand in the gap for our children, schools, and nation. This situation reminds us of the importance of praying for protection over young minds and wisdom for parents navigating these challenges.\n<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s pray that God would bring truth, righteousness, and discernment into our education system and protect children from harmful ideological influence.\n<\/p>\n
