{"id":27053,"date":"2026-04-16T22:33:18","date_gmt":"2026-04-16T22:33:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/biblelon.com\/?p=27053"},"modified":"2026-04-16T22:33:18","modified_gmt":"2026-04-16T22:33:18","slug":"german-youtubers-investigated-for-insulting-islam-over-video-against-demonic-antisemitism","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/biblelon.com\/?p=27053","title":{"rendered":"German YouTubers Investigated for Insulting Islam Over Video Against &#8216;Demonic&#8217; Antisemitism"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<p>Two Christian YouTubers from Germany are reportedly under investigation for blasphemy after posting a video about Muslim-centric antisemitism.<\/p>\n<p>Niko and Tino own a YouTube channel called Eternal Life, which mostly consists of videos of themselves talking to people on the street about the Bible and the Gospel,\u00a0according to Brussels Signal, a Belgium-based news outlet.<\/p>\n<p>But in 2024, following Hamas\u2019 deadly attack against Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, and in response to 2024 pro-Palestine and pro-Hamas riots in Germany, Niko and Tino published a video titled, \u201cIslam is no peace.\u201d The alleged video, which YouTube ultimately flagged as \u201cdangerous,\u201d has since been removed.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Listen to the latest\u00a0episode\u00a0of \u201cQuick Start\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In it, the content creators purportedly argued antisemitism is now \u201cofficially allowed\u201d again in Germany. They condemned the pro-Hamas sentiment that has swept through Germany, including not only\u00a0immediate celebrations\u00a0in the aftermath of the Oct. 7 attack but\u00a0continued rallies and protests\u00a0that feature antisemitic rhetoric, which the German government\u00a0has rebuked.<\/p>\n<p>Niko and Tino said in their video, \u201cHatred of Jews \u2014 the belief that Jews should be killed \u2014 is a demonic spirit and does not come from God,\u201d condemning Islam for bringing \u201cnothing but hatred, power and murder.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The public prosecutor\u2019s office in Hamburg launched an investigation into Niko in February 2025 for blasphemy under Article 166 of the German Criminal Code, which states, \u201cWhoever publicly or through dissemination of content insults the religious or ideological convictions of others in a manner capable of disturbing public peace shall be liable to imprisonment of up to three years or a fine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Niko\u2019s co-creator, Tino, is now under investigation, too.<\/p>\n<p>Marco Winger, who is representing Niko, is demanding the public prosecutor\u2019s office drop its investigation, arguing his client was not intending to incite hatred but was speaking out about his own Christian faith.<\/p>\n<p>He also noted Muslim-centric antisemitism has already been addressed by German governmental bodies, asserting Niko and Tino\u2019s video does not constitute a disturbance of public peace.<\/p>\n<p>Tino, for his part, views the investigation as a clear threat to the freedom of speech.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI do not understand what they want to investigate,\u201d he told the German outlet Apollo. \u201cPeople should not have to be afraid to speak their minds and profess their faith in Jesus Christ.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em><strong><em><strong>Please sign up for\u00a0Faithwire\u2019s daily newsletter\u00a0and download the\u00a0CBN News app\u00a0to stay up-to-date with the latest news from a distinctly Christian perspective.<\/strong><\/em><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two Christian YouTubers from Germany are reportedly under investigation for blasphemy after posting a video about Muslim-centric antisemitism.
