You make the clouds your chariot;

4\u00a0The winds are your messengers;

5\u00a0You placed the world on its foundation

6\u00a0You clothed the earth with floods of water,

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0at the sound of your thunder, it hurried away.
8\u00a0Mountains rose and valleys sank
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0to the levels you decreed.
9\u00a0Then you set a firm boundary for the seas,

10\u00a0You make springs pour water into the ravines,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0so streams gush down from the mountains.
11\u00a0They provide water for all the animals,

12\u00a0The birds nest beside the streams
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and sing among the branches of the trees.
13\u00a0You send rain on the mountains from your heavenly home,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and you fill the earth with the fruit of your labor.
14\u00a0You cause grass to grow for the livestock
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and plants for people to use.
You allow them to produce food from the earth\u2014
15\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0wine to make them glad,
olive oil to soothe their skin,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and bread to give them strength.
16\u00a0The trees of the\u00a0Lord\u00a0are well cared for\u2014
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0the cedars of Lebanon that he planted.
17\u00a0There the birds make their nests,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and the storks make their homes in the cypresses.
18\u00a0High in the mountains live the wild goats,

21\u00a0Then the young lions roar for their prey,

23\u00a0Then people go off to their work,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0where they labor until evening.<\/p>\n
24\u00a0O\u00a0Lord, what a variety of things you have made!
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0In wisdom you have made them all.
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The earth is full of your creatures.
25\u00a0Here is the ocean, vast and wide,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0teeming with life of every kind,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0both large and small.
26\u00a0See the ships sailing along,
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0and Leviathan,[c]\u00a0which you made to play in the sea.<\/p>\n
27\u00a0They all depend on you
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0to give them food as they need it.
28\u00a0When you supply it, they gather it.
\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0You open your hand to feed them,

29\u00a0But if you turn away from them, they panic.
