The Rev. Franklin Graham believes people need to know the Bible if they want to properly engage in the world around them, particularly when it comes to understanding the ramifications of spiritual warfare.<\/p>\n
Listen to the latest\u00a0episode\u00a0of \u201cQuick Start\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cIf you don\u2019t know God\u2019s Word, you\u2019re not going to recognize spiritual warfare,\u201d he told CBN News. \u201cYou\u2019ll just succumb to the attacks of the devil and not even be aware that you\u2019ve been attacked.\u201d<\/p>\n Graham continued, \u201cThe devil is wanting to trap every believer, every Christian, and if he can just get them into apathy, where just they kind of don\u2019t care, then he wins.\u201d<\/p>\n But knowing the Bible offers a protective tool that the preacher believes changes everything.<\/p>\n By knowing what God proclaims in His Word and how it all operates, people are equipped to navigate the landmines that often befall believers.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have to study,\u201d Graham said. \u201cAnd the devil is a deceiver, and he deceives Christians every day.\u201d<\/p>\n The preacher cited the example of Erika Kirk, the wife of slain conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, proclaiming that \u201cshe has been attacked since the day her husband was assassinated.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cShe is a nice, sweet, young lady who\u2019s grieving for the loss of her husband and \u2026 she\u2019s attacked all the time, even by Christians,\u201d Graham said. \u201cIt just makes my blood boil. \u2026 And all this is coming from the devil. He wants us to be at each other\u2019s throats.
