League of United Latin American Citizens.\n<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"475\" data-end=\"652\">\u2026\n<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"654\" data-end=\"843\">\u201cThe District Court inserted itself into an active primary campaign, causing much confusion and upsetting the delicate federal-state balance in elections,\u201d the Supreme Court majority wrote.\n<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"654\" data-end=\"843\">\n<p data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"1175\">The Court\u2019s decision reinforces its earlier stance that lower courts should avoid making last-minute changes to election procedures, especially close to an election. By siding with Texas, the justices emphasized the importance of stability and clarity in election administration, particularly as states prepare for upcoming races.\n<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1177\" data-end=\"1479\">The Supreme Court ruling is the latest development in a redistricting war that has captivated the nation. It follows Virginia\u2019s recent decision to adopt a favorable map for Democrats.
