\u201cThe harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.\u201d Those words from our Lord are as true today as ever, and they remind us why the work of Martin Luther College matters so deeply.<\/p>\n
Martin Luther College\u2019s mission is to train the next generation of pastors, teachers, and staff ministers for our congregations and schools. The men and women studying at MLC right now are preparing for a lifetime of service\u2014to your church, your school, and your community. They are being Knighted for Ministry.<\/strong><\/p>\n On Worldwide MLC Day, we come together to support these students.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n MLC Day centers on the Congregational Partner Grant Program (CPGP). Here\u2019s how it works: A congregation commits a financial gift to support each of its students preparing for ministry at Martin Luther College. Then MLC matches each gift\u2014up to $1,600 in 2025-2026.<\/p>\n CPGP has been a huge blessing to our students! This year, students received $1.9 million through CPGP alone! The students are incredibly grateful for these gifts, which help reduce their student debt and alleviate the financial stress they may feel.<\/p>\n But it\u2019s not only the congregations we have to thank. It\u2019s also donors like you who make CPGP work\u2014because you help MLC match the congregations\u2019 gifts!<\/p>\n On Worldwide MLC Day, will you please help us match the CPGP gifts? If you give $1,600, you will be the 100 percent match<\/em> for one MLC student.<\/strong><\/p>\n And there\u2019s more good news! This year, your gift will go twice as far.
