As America prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary, believers and leaders from across the nation are gathering in Washington, D.C., for a major event centered on prayer, worship, and national rededication. Organizers say the White House\u2019s upcoming \u201cRededicate 250\u201d gathering will serve as both a celebration of God\u2019s faithfulness throughout American history and a call to seek His guidance for the nation\u2019s future.\n<\/p>\n

As America\u2019s semiquincentennial celebration swiftly approaches, the country as a whole is remembering everything God has done since the nation\u2019s inception. The celebration of God\u2019s providence will take place on the National Mall on May 17 and will feature \u201cScripture, testimony, prayer, and rededication of our country as One Nation to God.\u201d\n<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2026Rededicate 250 will be rooted in giving thanks for God\u2019s presence in our national life throughout 250 years of American history and asking for his guidance for the next 250,\u201d Freedom 250, the organization leading the way on America\u2019s 250th birthday celebration, said on its website previewing the event.\n<\/p>\n

The event, which is free to all, will feature several notable government and faith leaders, including Reverend Franklin Graham, House Speaker Mike Johnson, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, former HUD Secretary Dr. Ben Carson, and many others \u2026\n<\/p>\n

The all-day gathering on the National Mall will include worship music, fellowship, testimony, prayer, and messages from prominent Christian leaders representing a wide range of traditions. Christian artist Chris Tomlin is scheduled to headline the event, while organizers say the day will focus on reflecting on God\u2019s providence, sharing testimonies of healing, and asking for God\u2019s blessing on the next 250 years of American history.\n<\/p>\n

The event is part of a broader movement surrounding America\u2019s upcoming semiquincentennial celebration, with many believers viewing this milestone as more than a historical anniversary. For countless Christians across the nation, this moment represents an opportunity for repentance, thanksgiving, and renewed commitment to the biblical principles that shaped America\u2019s founding.\n<\/p>\n
