1. Website Builder.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

If you\u2019re looking for a website builder, do they have one that is easy to use, produces great looking websites, and has all the functionality you\u2019re looking for?<\/p>\n

2. Support.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

In what ways do they provide support? Email only? Live chat? Phone? If you call, do you get put on hold for a long time? Is phone support outsourced to another country, making them difficult to understand?<\/p>\n

3. Other services.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

If in addition to your website hosting, can you get your domain registration, your email, logo design, website design, and search engine marketing all with the same company? If so, that is really going to simplify your life.<\/p>\n

4. Shared values.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

When you choose your website hosting company, you can go with a big company that is just trying to make money for their share holders, a company that might support political or social causes you don\u2019t agree with, or a company that shares and supports your commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

Notice I didn\u2019t include cost on this list. That\u2019s because usually there is only a minimal difference of maybe $5 or $10\/mo between services.\u00a0 So, I ask\u2026<\/p>\n

Is it really worth sacrificing support, simplicity, or shared values for a few bucks a month? <\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I don\u2019t think so, but that\u2019s up to you.<\/p>\n
