Dr. Billye Brim is a Bible scholar who has spent decades redigging the wells of truth that modern thinking has covered up. She visited our studio recently with a word for the Church\u00a0and for young people.<\/p>\n

We’re here with Dr. Billye Brim\u00a0in our Jerusalem studio. Great to be with you, Billye.<\/p>\n BILLYE BRIM: Thanks for having me. It’s\u00a0such an honor.<\/p>\n CM: You know, one of the things that’s happening in the church right now is this idea, theology, of “replacement theology.”\u00a0How do you respond to that?<\/p>\n BB: If you read the New Testament in Timothy, it says, “Study to show yourself approved unto God, rightly dividing the Word.” The Word has to be rightly divided. It can be wrongly divided. And then the Lord tells you in Second Corinthians, First Corinthians 10, verse 32, “Do not offend the Jews.”<\/p>\n Isn’t that something? People took them to the Holocaust under the sign of the cross. The Crusaders marched under the sign of the cross, but they weren’t reading our instructions. Our instructions were “do not offend the Jews,” (to)\u00a0the Gentiles or the Church. There’s three groups of people. There’s the nations, and there’s the Jews; those are the peoples of the Old Testament we see in Tanach. And then in the New Testament it introduces the third group (the Church).<\/p>\n So, the Bible, when you’re rightly dividing the Word, you’re supposed to ask yourself, who’s doing the talking? Who are they talking to? Some scriptures are talking to, and only about, the Jews. You can’t switch them over and make them about us.<\/p>\n CM:\u00a0 Right. So Gutenberg, when that happened (the printing of the Bible in English), and then, the Word became available to the common man. Now we’re in a different era where social media is providing so much information 24 \/7, and a lot of it right now is affecting young people\u00a0\u2013\u00a0influencers like Candace Owens or Tucker Carlson or others \u2013\u00a0that are coming against Israel. So how?<\/p>\n BB: Absolutely. Well, the answer, Chris, is in the Word of God. Everything we need to know is right here. But they are ignorant of the word of God. Now they’re not ignorant people, but they’re ignorant of the Word. The really true Word. There’s lots of things I’m ignorant of, like physics and all those things. But the answer is they have not been taught the word of God.<\/p>\n You can’t find truth outside the word of God. This is truth. And so it’s on the part of, of\u00a0pastors, of leaders, to have kept this alive through the years, through the word of God. But there are lots and lots of churches, probably, where some of these kids were brought up, that they never even broached the subject of Israel. So now here they are with all this. Oh, you got to be nice, and the Palestinians got run out of their land and this and that.<\/p>\n Every answer is here. And I really don’t know any other way to tell them other than here. But I do have a platform God’s given me. And we bring 800 kids to Branson (Missouri) every year, my son does,\u00a0 in a rally that we have every year, and I’m one of the speakers, and they like me; I’m one of their favorites. I’m 87 years old, Chris.<\/p>\n CM: Well, you don’t look it, Billye<\/p>\n BB: But\u00a0you know, you have to get them to the truth.<\/p>\n CM: Yeah. So we have about a minute left. If you’re talking to those youth, what do you, what do you tell them?<\/p>\n BB: Well, for one thing, I’m going to tell them God is God. He made us, and he wrote a book. And this book is Him talking to me, talking to you. And this is what He said about Israel, and if you’ve heard other things, they’re not the truth. God loves everyone; I’ll go into my spiel about the nations and the people at the Tower of Babel.<\/p>\n And God took the nation of Israel, whose job it is to reveal God to us. And I’ll tell them about the biggest miracle anyone’s probably ever seen, is that after 2000 years, He brought the Jews home just like He said he would. He brought them up out of the ovens. I might even read them the dry bones chapter, some of those chapters in Ezekiel. But I would try to convince them that God is God. This is how He thinks. And we renew our minds. We’re told to begin to renew our minds and think like He says and not like some other person. And, you know, we’ve had some pretty good results with this. But I think if you take the word and He anoints it with His power and He works on their hearts while you’re teaching, you’ll have good results.<\/p>\n CM: Yeah.
