Radio host Steve Deace isn\u2019t a fan of legendary film director Steven Spielberg\u2019s latest film, \u201cDisclosure Day,\u201d and warns believers that the movie is a \u201cdirect assault on Christianity.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe female lead character\u2026she\u2019s a former nun-turned-fornicator,\u201d he told CBN News, commenting on a pointed review he posted on social media. \u201cAt one point early in the film, she says that she, quote, \u2018Lost my belief that God is divine.’\u201d<\/p>\n
He said the main character even appears to be overtaken by what resembles a possession.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat she does in the midst of this, she grabs her crucifix and begins praying earnestly,\u201d Deace said. \u201cAt one point, she claps it in both of her hands hard, to the point she stigmatized herself, she bleeds through the crucifix \u2026 but, in the end, the alien technology that possesses her is too powerful for the crucifix, and it overpowers her, and she lets the crucifix go.\u201d<\/p>\n
He continued, \u201cIf that\u2019s not a statement, I don\u2019t know what is.\u201d<\/p>\n
Deace also said the only religion depicted in the film as struggling with alien disclosure is Christianity. The popular radio host shared other examples before pivoting to another conversation: whether real-life aliens should pose a problem for the Christian faith.<\/p>\n
Regardless of where people stand, he said that there\u2019s no reason to fret or worry. While some have expressed fears that there\u2019s a conflict between beings with free will that aren\u2019t human and the biblical narrative, Deace offered some important reminders.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Bible has already accounted for intelligent life created in this by God that wasn\u2019t human beings,\u201d he said. \u201cCherubim, seraphim\u2026angels\u2026fallen angels, angels who fell and then became demons. So there\u2019s already a myriad of intelligent life that God created before he made us.\u201d<\/p>\n
Deace encouraged Christians to look to the Word of God for answers to these complex questions.<\/p>\n

And you\u2019ll realize, again, math and science are your friend; they\u2019re just not your God.\u201d<\/p>\n These words came after Spielberg openly said he believes people will struggle if they find out the government has been hiding the existence of aliens and UFOs.<\/p>\n \u201cIf this truth were just known overnight, if the government announced, \u2018Yes, we have been keeping this from you since 1947,\u2019 that would mess up a lot of people,\u201d Spielberg\u00a0said\u00a0during a \u201cCBS Sunday Morning\u201d interview about the film. \u201cAnd the movie also takes the position of the church.
