Naomi Anderson is on a mission to point Generation Z toward the truth.<\/p>\n
Anderson is co-founder of\u00a0Verity Collective, \u201ca movement rooted in the unchanging truth of the Gospel.\u201d She told CBN News she wants to bring Jesus to America\u2019s young generation.<\/p>\n
Listen to the latest\u00a0episode\u00a0of \u201cQuick Start\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cWe believe that there is a lot of confusion and noise in this world for them, and we want to bring them back to the one and only truth, which is Jesus,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Anderson believes young people are \u201ccraving the truth\u201d but have faced an uphill battle in understanding it, as they\u2019ve been sold an improper understanding of reality.<\/p>\n \u201cThey are craving the truth. They just don\u2019t know what it is because they\u2019ve been told to define it for themselves,\u201d she said. \u201cSo when we ask them, \u2018What is truth?\u2019 they literally will sit there on camera and it will take them minutes to try to decide right because they have been told truth is objective \u2014 you can define your own truth. \u2026 They just need to be pointed back to the truth.\u201d<\/p>\n The need for truth couldn\u2019t be more pressing, as many young people are suffering from mental health issues, including anxiety and depression.<\/p>\n \u201cIt all forms around this idea of what is my identity, and where am I grounded in, and they just don\u2019t have a landing solid spot,\u201d Anderson said.<\/p>\n She also noted that young men appear to be increasingly interested in the Christian faith.<\/p>\n \u201cThese men are craving solid biblical truth, and that only comes from reading your Bible, and picking up the word, and being taught it by a Bible teacher,\u201d Anderson said.<\/p>\n Through Verity Collective, she\u2019s hoping to visit college campuses across the US in September and have a presence to spark conversations.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat we\u2019re recognizing is that when you actually pull someone aside and start asking them questions like, \u2018What is truth?\u2019 they have a yearning to know what it is that you want them to know,\u201d Anderson said. \u201cThey\u2019ll ask \u2026 \u2018What do you believe truth is?\u2019 And it really does open up an opportunity for us to speak the Gospel of Jesus Christ to them.
