Murat Piker, Hasan\u2019s younger brother and frequent livestream companion, spent more than a decade working as an aerospace engineer at Boeing, according to a bombshell report from the Washington Free Beacon.\n<\/p>\n
His projects reportedly included the new Air Force One, the E-6B Mercury nuclear command aircraft, airborne surveillance systems, military drones, satellites, and Boeing spacecraft.\n<\/p>\n
According to Murat\u2019s public LinkedIn profile, he worked for Boeing Defense & Space and helped lead the mechanical design and integration of next-generation satellite structures. \u201cI hold a Master\u2019s in Aerospace Engineering from UCLA and possess active Security Clearances,\u201d his profile states.<\/p>\n
A person familiar with Murat\u2019s employment told the Free Beacon he held a \u201ctop secret\u201d clearance. There is some dispute over the extent of his Air Force One involvement \u2014 a source familiar with the VC-25B program told the Free Beacon he was not formally assigned to it and did not hold the specific clearance the program requires. However, Murat himself told Rolling Stone he performed at least some work connected to the aircraft.\n<\/p>\n
Of particular concern is his reported work on the E-6B Mercury, the Navy\u2019s nuclear \u201cdoomsday plane.\u201d The aircraft provides nuclear command, control, and communications between the president, the secretary of defense, and U.S. Strategic Command, and can direct the launch of land-based intercontinental ballistic missiles if ground-based command systems are destroyed. His public work history also reportedly lists the E-3 Sentry, the E-7 airborne early warning platform, the Orca Extra Large Unmanned Undersea Vehicle, Boeing\u2019s CST-100 Starliner spacecraft, and the ViaSat-3 communications satellite. Boeing declined to confirm the details of Murat\u2019s assignments, citing privacy and national security concerns, but told the Free Beacon that clearances are granted only after completing the federal government\u2019s full background investigation and vetting process.\n<\/p>\n
All of this unfolded while Murat regularly appeared on his brother\u2019s livestream. The two streamed together from Japan and France and discussed the ViaSat-3 launch in 2023. Hasan, meanwhile, has stated he would \u201cvote for Hamas over Israel every single time,\u201d claimed he has \u201cno issue with Hezbollah,\u201d called Ultra-Orthodox Jews \u201cinbred,\u201d and has served as a surrogate for progressive Democratic candidates in the 2026 cycle \u2014 including Michigan Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed and Wisconsin gubernatorial candidate Francesca Hong.\n<\/p>\n
A nation that cannot protect its most sensitive defense programs from foreign influence \u2014 or from the family networks of those who openly despise it \u2014 is a nation with a serious security problem. Scripture calls governing authorities to bear the sword in defense of the innocent, and that mandate includes protecting the infrastructure of national defense. Believers can pray for rigorous scrutiny of security clearance processes, for those charged with protecting America\u2019s most sensitive programs, and for discernment among the officials responsible for keeping the nation\u2019s defenses intact.\n<\/p>\n
