As a result, no one can ever boast in the presence of God.<\/span><span class=\"v2\">God chose what is low and despised in the world, things that are not, to abolish things that are, so that no one might boast in the presence of God.<\/span><span class=\"v2\">God chose the lowly things of the world, and the things that are despised, and the things that don\u2019t exist, that he might bring to nothing the things that exist, that no flesh should boast before God.<\/span><span class=\"v2\">And the insignificant things of the world and the despised God has chosen, the things that are not, so that He may nullify the things that are, so that no human may boast before God.<\/span><span class=\"v2\">God chose those in the world who were lowly and despised, those who count for nothing, to reduce to nothing those who were regarded as worthy, so that no one could boast in the presence of God.<\/span><span class=\"v2\">L<span style=\"font-variant:all-small-caps\">ord<\/span>, you are my God;<br \/>I will exalt you and praise your name,<br \/>for in perfect faithfulness<br \/>you have done wonderful things,<br \/>things planned long ago.<\/span><span class=\"v2\">For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.
