On the project titled Christmas In Belfast, the platinum-selling worship band from Northern Ireland delivers a cozy collection of three intimate originals, plus five Irish-folk inspired versions of beloved seasonal classics.
\u201cI want this album to feel like being in the neighborhood pub with your loved ones before heading off to Christmas Eve service,\u201d describes founding member Chris Llewelyn.<\/p>\n In that vein, the \u201cChristmas in Belfast (Sl\u00e1inte!)\u201d title track is a festive Irish sing-along anthem for all, while the album also features tender originals \u201cThe Reason\u201d and \u201cRoom At The Inn\u201d (with singer-songwriter Chris Renzema), bringing listeners into a more intimate setting much like the night Jesus was born. The group adds its signature Celtic production to classics \u201cCarol Of The Bells\u201d and \u201cFeliz Navidad,\u201d and worshipful radio singles, \u201cMary Did You Know\u201d and \u201cA Christmas Hymn (to the tune of \u201cCome Thou Fount\u201d).
