\u2022 We thank God that the voice of the Church does not cease in prayer for the country, which is going through difficult times, as well as for people who are in grief, loss, and hopelessness. Churches of different regions pray continuously. Last week, churches of the Poltava region raised their voices, next week the Chernivtsi region will pray.
\u2022 Ukraine has strengthened its air defense system with Patriot complexes. These were agreements prepared jointly with Germany.
\u2022 Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 5 units of armored combat vehicles and 121 units of automotive equipment.\n<\/p>\n

\u26a1\ufe0f Threats remain:\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 Russian attacks on energy facilities left the entire Donetsk region and some consumers in Zaporizhia, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions without electricity.
\u2022 During the week, Russia directed almost 1,500 strike drones, almost the same number of guided aerial bombs and over 70 missiles at the civilian infrastructure, energy and residential buildings of Ukraine.
\u2022 The enemy advanced in Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, as well as near Kamyanka, Kharkiv region and Novohrygorivka, Dnipropetrovsk region.

\u2022 A meeting of national representatives of the Lausanne Movement of Europe was held in Valencia, dedicated to the topic of cooperation between churches and Christian organizations. Special attention was paid during the event to Ukraine, in particular, our delegation spoke about the ministry of the Church in the midst of war. The meeting showed that the Church today is called not only to preach, but also to cooperate, reconcile and support. Ukraine at this event reminded Europe that true unity is born in trials, when believers from different countries stand side by side in prayer, ministry and the love of Christ.

\u2022 This night, Russian aggressors launched 52 missiles (9 of them ballistic) and 653 drones of various types into Ukraine. In particular, Russia attacked Kyiv and the region, Zaporizhia, and struck Sloviansk in the Donetsk region. In Vinnytsia region, Ladyzhyn was left without water, heat, and electricity due to shelling.
\u2022 Most mines in the occupied territory of Donbas are not working. They are gradually filling with water, and dangerous gas methane is rising to the surface, the effect of which can lead to catastrophic consequences.

For the creation of a system of psychological support and assistance at all stages of service. On paying special attention in Ukraine to supporting servicemen returning from captivity and their families.\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 We are currently facing many challenges, one of which is the demographic crisis. In the coming years, Ukraine may face a large-scale demographic problem related to emigration, assimilation of citizens abroad, and population decline. We pray to prevent the mass exodus of families with children, population decline, and weakening of labor potential, as well as the loss of a significant part of the future generation of Ukrainians who will grow up and socialize outside the borders of Ukraine. We pray that children have a point of support in this life, in particular, the support of parents or other close people. \u2022 In the Kherson region, Ukrainian defenders destroyed the Russian anti-aircraft missile system \u201cOsa\u201d.

\u2022 The Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled one of the largest mechanized attacks in the Dobropillya area of \u200b\u200bthe Donetsk region, which lasted more than six hours.

We pray that God\u2019s light will be shed on Ukraine, that people will choose what is pleasing to God, that they will seek Him and His truth above all.\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 We pray for the preservation of our national identity and traditional values \u200b\u200bin the face of global changes. For drawing attention to the demographic problem that hangs over Ukraine and taking real steps to solve this issue.\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 We pray that the Lord will help us get through this winter. After all, as it approaches, Ukrainians are preparing for another difficult season that could force hundreds of thousands of people to leave their homes. We pray for proper preparation for this period by all state structures and for assistance to our country so that we can cope with new challenges. We also pray that the winter will not be cold.\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 We pray for the protection of our children. Sad statistics: since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 661 Ukrainian children have been killed and over 2,200 injured. That these terrible numbers do not remain just statistics, but encourage action to stop this bloodshed, that international institutions actively join in finding ways out.\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 We pray for volunteers who help the front and ordinary Ukrainians who find themselves in difficult circumstances. For assistance from the state in the development of volunteering in Ukraine, to avoid abuses in this activity. May the Lord thank each volunteer for their compassion, support and help.\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 The Ukrainian Evangelical Theological Seminary celebrated the graduation of 308 students. This year\u2019s graduation was one of the largest in the history of the seminary. Among the graduates are pastors, chaplains, leaders of youth and children\u2019s ministries, ministers of praise, spiritual counselors, family counselors and practical psychologists. All of them received the knowledge and experience necessary for further service in churches and communities throughout Ukraine. We are grateful for such educational institutions in our country.

\u2022 We thank God for the unity of churches of different denominations in Ukraine in defending peace on our land and in the spiritual struggle against the forces of evil.
\u2022 Ukrainian troops liberated the village of Udachne in the Pokrovsk district of the Donetsk region.
\u2022 Another group of Ukrainian children was returned to Ukraine from the occupied territories and from the territory of Russia. Among the rescued are a mother with two sons, who were deported to Russia and had their Ukrainian documents taken away. Also among the returned is a child with a disability.
\u2022 Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 1 tank, 4 armored combat vehicles, and 88 units of automotive equipment.\n<\/p>\n

\u26a0\ufe0f Threats remain:\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 Enemies hit UAVs in the Chernihiv region. They hit Sumy again. They attacked Bila Tserkva in the Kyiv region. They shelled the port infrastructure of Izmail in the Odessa region.
\u2022 In the first days of the school year, Russian soldiers attacked schools in the border area of \u200b\u200bthe Chernihiv region.
\u2022 Russian troops advanced in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions.
\u2022 The Russian president threatened Ukraine with attacks on energy facilities and called them \u201cretaliatory strikes\u201d.
\u2022 Russia wants to produce Su-57 fighters in India. In addition, Russia increased the discount on its oil for India, so India remains the largest importer of Russian oil.

\u2022 We pray for the economic stability of our country despite serious challenges and problems. For support from the promised external financing. Currently, the issue of financing Ukraine for 2026-2027 remains open, with only about a third of the required $65 billion having confirmed sources.\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 We are increasingly hearing about new threats to Ukraine\u2019s energy sector in the information field. There is a need to pray that the plans and criminal intentions of the enemies will not be realized. That Ukraine will stand firm, that people will have electricity in the cold season.\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 We pray for the improvement of media literacy and the ability to think critically, which in the conditions of the flow of disinformation should become a priority for both the state and educational programs, because the country\u2019s resilience to information threats depends on this. Experts emphasize: during the war, Russia actively uses information attacks. The vulnerability of Ukrainians to disinformation increases the risk of spreading panic, breaking trust in state institutions, and manipulating public opinion.\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 We pray for the replenishment of the ranks of the army of intercessors. For Christians to deeply realize the need for this, because the harvest time has come, and it is very short.\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 We thank God for every prayer of the faithful, for steadfastness and constancy, because faith moves mountains, and prayers pave the way in the desert and give light in the darkness.
\u2022 At the front, our military has some success in the Sumy region.
\u2022 In Ukraine, 3.5 million schoolchildren started the school year. Most children sat down at their desks offline. Three new underground schools opened in Kharkiv on September 1. We thank God for the opportunity for our children to study at school in difficult war conditions.
\u2022 During August, our air defense destroyed 6,346 air targets.
\u2022 Ukraine signed the High Seas Agreement. The document contributes to achieving the goal of the Convention on Biological Diversity, in particular, the preservation of 30% of territories and oceans.
\u2022 Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have destroyed 4 tanks, 17 armored combat vehicles, and 94 units of automotive equipment.\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 The occupiers are storming the Pokrovsk direction in the Donetsk region the most.
\u2022 Russia has intensified narratives to hinder aid to Ukraine. Information efforts are closely intertwined with the attempts of the Russian Ministry of Defense to create a misleading impression of progress on the front and its imminent victory.
\u2022 In the first two weeks of September, Russia is intensifying propaganda campaigns against Ukraine. The main goal is to discredit security guarantees for Ukraine, the negotiation process, and international support for our country.
\u2022 In Ukraine, 457 secondary education institutions have ceased to exist or have their grades downgraded due to understaffing. In addition, at the beginning of the new school year, the number of first-graders in Ukraine has significantly decreased. There are 62 thousand fewer first-graders in schools than last year.\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 We pray for opportunities to counter enemy strike UAVs, with which the Russians terrorize Ukrainian cities every night. For ways to improve the detection of enemy drones and their timely destruction, for the expansion and scaling of means that are already effectively working to counter drones.\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 We pray for the leaders of our country. May the Lord and His Word be their main advisor. May they be guided by God\u2019s wisdom in making important decisions in the interests of the country, may their hearts be open to truth and light.\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 We pray for the prevention of various enemy sabotage and provocations, in particular informational ones. May everything secret become apparent, may the insidious plans of the enemies not be realized.\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 We never tire of praying for our soldiers. We hear so many testimonies about the power of prayer, thanks to which so many lives were saved. May the Lord be a protection, a road that leads through mines and shelling. May He be the One who lifts the soul above circumstances.\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 We pray for the stabilization of Ukraine\u2019s economic indicators, for the receipt of funds to restore entire industries that have suffered as a result of the war. We pray for transparency in the use of funds, for the destruction of criminal schemes at various levels, for increased responsibility for corruption.\n<\/p>\n

\u2022 We pray for those people who are in need, in depression, who have hopelessness and despair in their hearts, who cannot cope with their emotions, who have spiritual wounds. \u2022 The voices of the intercessors in prayer are not silent within the framework of the Marathon of Fasting and Prayer. Because prayer is both our spiritual shield and offensive weapon. Therefore, we must always be clothed in God\u2019s armor. Chernihiv region passed the baton to the Transcarpathian region. Thank God!
\u2022 Units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the village of Myrne near the city of Kupyansk in the Kharkiv region. Previously, from positions in this village, the Russians could control an important highway.
