Now, he\u2019s been hit with articles of impeachment.\n<\/p>\n<h4>Visit your state page to pray.<\/h4>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>From the Daily Wire:\n<\/p>\n<p>Rep. Brandon Gill (R-TX) filed the articles on Tuesday, saying in an X post, \u201cI just filed Articles of Impeachment against radical activist Judge James Boasberg. Judge Boasberg abused his power by weaponizing the judiciary against critics of the Biden Administration. As part of the Arctic Frost Investigation, Judge Boasberg signed off on frivolous nondisclosure orders to conceal the fact that sitting US Senators were being surveilled. Not only was this action egregiously improper; it was a gross violation of the separation of powers. Judge Boasberg is guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors, is unfit for office, and should be impeached.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>Gill filed the articles after learning that Boasberg was the one who signed off on subpoenas that facilitated the surveillance of multiple Republicans in Congress \u2014 and barred anyone from informing those members that they were the subject of subpoenas.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChief Judge Boasberg has compromised the impartiality of the judiciary and created a constitutional crisis. He is shamelessly weaponizing his power against his political opponents, including Republican members of Congress who are faithfully serving the American people within their jurisdiction,\u201d Gill told Fox News Digital in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>These impeachment articles follow Senator Chuck Grassley\u2019s reveal of Artic Frost, an FBI operation in which then-Attorney General Merrick Garland approved \u201csome 400 subpoenas relating to 200 Republicans,\u201d according to the Daily Wire. The Biden-era FBI even subpoenaed bank records from major Republican donors and PACs.\n<\/p>\n<p>Arctic Frost has becomes one of the biggest political scandals of our time, with one senator calling it \u201c100 times worse than Watergate.\u201d And it would seem that Boasberg was a key part of this scandal, leading Representative Gill to characterize him as \u201cunfit for the gavel.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>Will Boasberg be impeached and removed? That much remains to be seen.
