Thanks to Republican Senator Markwayne Mullin, we may finally have an answer.\n<\/p>\n<h4>Get involved in state-level prayer with IFA.<\/h4>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>From The Gateway Pundit:\n<\/p>\n<p>Senator Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) accused Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of orchestrating a secret \u201cbackroom deal\u201d with fellow Democrats to deliberately keep the government shut down until after Tuesday\u2019s elections.\n<\/p>\n<p>During an interview, Mullin disclosed that Schumer privately instructed Senate Democrats to \u201cwait it out\u201d rather than negotiate with Republicans to reopen the government.\n<\/p>\n<p>Mullin blasted the strategy as a cynical move to protect Democrat turnout in key states.<\/p>\n<p>According to Senator Mullin, \u201cChuck Schumer, in a private meeting with other Democrat senators, said that if they\u2019d just wait until after the election, he\u2019d release the handcuffs.\u201d He did this because he was reportedly \u201cafraid [the Democrats\u2019] base wouldn\u2019t show up \u2026 in Virginia, New Jersey, and New York.\u201d\n<\/p>\n<p>The Senator accused Democrats like Senator Schumer of \u201cholding the American people as leverage\u201d in order to score political points.\n<\/p>\n<p>You can watch this interview below:\n<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">\ud83d\udea8 BREAKING: Sen. Meanwhile, our infrastructure is in danger, and more and more families are having to go without pay.
